Shields of Senchal, is it dropping yet?

I have been running dalies since the patch there but have yet to see a single one drop, neither can i find any mention of people getting any.
they are in the outfit section but nothing, are they avaliable yet or am i wasteing my time?

The new motifs are in the files but not accessible in game yet, or shouldn't be. Usually motifs are implemented in the files with each major update, meaning you see their entries in the lore library and outfit collections and you can decon gear of that style for style mats. But the actual release of the motif should be announced in patch notes (and the crown store announcement, when the crown store release coincides).

The last time motifs began dropping unannounced the day of a major patch (Coldsnap and Meridian), it was very much unintended and they stopped it fairly quickly. The motifs resumed dropping only after the official announcement months later.

Wait...can we already get the SoS mats?

I'm sitting on a pile of Shields gear that I got from Dragonguard dailies, and I want to start collecting those mats (and freeing bank space) as soon as I can. I already took a bunch down the last time my bank was full, but I was tryingg to save as much as possible just in case it was releasing in the near future.

I've seen the entries in the collections already, but I don't want to just start deconning until I know I have a chance of mats.Mainly since I reset my dragonguard character so I have to grind those dailies again.

You should be able to, but I won’t be able to confirm it until I can get back in game tomorrow. That’s the way it’s worked for previous updates, though. As soon as the motif appears in the lore library and collections, its style mat should be available to drop.

ETA: It should be called Carmine Shieldsilk. Potentially have a look around traders to see if any is listed. I don’t see anything on TTC, but the entry at least exists.

Ive been able to get a few Carmine Shieldsilks from deconning SoS gear.

Why are players running dailies in hopes of motif pages ... when motif pages weren’t mentioned at all in the patch notes?

Would you rather read the patch notes for 10 minutes ... or spend countless hours on dailies under an assumption that drops will occur “because it’s a new patch” ... ?
