✭Thought Xbox had one awhile ago, but could be wrong. Know a few players/groups who have been progressing it for awhile on Xbox, but has been a challenge to say the least (add-ons or not). Anyways, congrats to your group or friends.2 -

That being said, while addons and fancy rigs are allowed, macros are against the TOS. I'm going to assume you weren't trying to call PC godslayer guilds cheaters, but one of those three things is NOT like the others.15 -

Nah it was a thow back to when some silly people were posting that you could only do high dps with macros, add-ons, no lag and a lot of other nonsense.7 -

Not too long ago - probably around Elsweyr, which got released like 8 months ago, so it is quite some time ago.
Healing changes - the weeping was mainly about their first Plans for Bubbles for example, which gladly didn't happen.
Console - there are two kinds of Console, and PS4 struggles harder than Xbox Performance wise, I feel like. Also, on PS4 EU, can't talk about NA, not even the best Guilds with several TTTs and Gryphon Hearts got even close to the Speed Run in VSS.5 -

Lol. Somehow I think I'll survive. In all honesty the point of this post is to show that we're fine on Xbox NA. Every time there's a nerf or balance or some change people jump up and be like "think of teh console players. They have no add-ons. They can't swap to speed gear they can't change cp on the fly. Blah blah blah. How ever will they compete?" We might not get it in the first couple weeks or be able to try out trials on the pts, but we thriving over here.8 -

There are so many misconceptions about this game due to PC add-ons it’s silly. They don’t just make things easier for PC players, in certain aspects they make things harder for them as well. I couldn’t even imagine trying to land an ice comet on another player on PC with all of the defensive “LOOK OUT” add-ons but I can melt potatoes with it on XBox all day. Console really is the Wild West.

✭✭Addons can let you know when to recast dots. It can let you know when to dodge, and who in the group is not doing good DPS or healing.
Hell, PC users have better FPS even on mid-range systems, which allows for smoother combat and quicker responses.
I'm not calling PC users cheaters. But they definitely have an advantage.7 -

As someone who is swapping from Ps4 to PC I can agree that addons take a significant load off of having to micromanage a rotation. The thing is, I just don't care anymore because it helps so much that you would be a fool to not utilize the tools. I think of it like running BiS compared to other sets. Are they viable? Yes, but there are things that are better. And if you don't use them then that's on you. Of course this doesn't apply to consoles since we don't have addons but you can see what I'm saying I hope.PvP needs more love.6
