The blue screens were somewhat fixed in the incremental patch on 5th February. That means, everyone on that platform had to play with constant crashing for more than three months. Yet the PC problems are investigated on DAY ONE?
Please, explain it to me, how is it possible that one platform is being discriminated by ZOS even though we pay the same amount of money. This is unfair and frankly, disheartning.
@OP,
I hope you're not referring to the response to this update. I mean, a complete overhaul of the code means that any bugs they missed are likely to affect huge numbers of players. Hardly strange they're trying to fix any of those ASAP.

Even to this day, no-one from zos ackowledged that while their recent incremental patch removed most of the blue screens it also introduced horrible lag / rubber banding, you name it.
That's not the case here, as the game hardly ever used to crash and after dragonhold, many people crashing once per hour, sometimes more. So unless dragonhold mysteriously upped the temps of everyone's console, its just bad coding.WhyMustItBe wrote: »Leading cause of console crashes in demanding games is heat.

Hmmm....have you checked out the RIP PC EU thread? They've been suffering for years.

They never had a situation that severe until now. What you experience currently, we lived through already. It took them three months to fix it... But I guess our problems are not as time sensitive as on the PC platform. We only get a fraction of the support you do.

(But yeah if console is flaming definitely a heat problem!) XD
I don't have a console so I am not familiar if there is any dashboard app that lets you monitor temps in realtime. If so though it would be worth a check, especially if it is a coding change that is causing way higher CPU use or something.

heh you made me chuckle, thank you. But yes it is fully possible it could be a heating issue or even a console at the end of its life if it was bought at launch. The average console is only made to last 3 years.

please relax, PC players get the patch first due to its ease of implementation as well as the fact they do not need it approved by sony or Microsoft. Sony charges 50-500 USD per patch thus company's tend to wait until its deemed worthy, then it is submitted and sony will QA the patch only to approve or deny it. Once that is done it is then sent to the players. so most likely when you guys get the next update they may have a fix for it. Though also keep in mind blue screens happen whe nthe system overheats.
