Any news about the constant crashing to desktop?

Thanks for the reply Sarah. Yes, I have the same launcher art as that shown above in post #7. I've closed and re-opened the launcher a number of times, and each time it says it's loading "Updated Application List" and then the launcher opens fully with "loading" on the news section followed by "Could Not Load News". The good news is that the "Play" button works fine !
