I don't want to download the PTS

I did a uninstall and a reinstall. My first download was 53gigs. Great thats an improvement. ANd it finished and i thought wonderful . However now it seems to be downloading the PTS. I looked at the options and it seems there was nothing to click or unclick.
Summary
downloaded the 53gigs and applied patch -
Now its at 50% and downloading another 7 gigs.
Am I now downloading the pts, and is there a way i could of stopped this?
