A Tale Of A Lusty Argonian Assassin And Her Lost Name

I’ve been having fun with Murkmire event, mostly because I’m finally playing the whole questline and side quests with the character I wanted to do it.

I created Raises-Her-Rear around the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017, when I decided to join a RP guild called Sanguine's Thirst, as a bard with the character in question.

Her name is a synonym to a famous and beloved character in Elder Scrolls lore and literature, Lifts-Her-Tail. Also Raises’ name strongly reminded me of a favorite movie of mine, Jurassic Park (1993). Her names recalls to the attack position velociraptors assumed before pouncing on their target, where they lower their chest, raise their rear/tail with head looking up to the target.

Raises-Her-Rear was a name given by her Telvanni master, an Archmage. He hired a smuggler to bring an argonian, born under the sign of the Shadow, he procured earlier in Black Marsh. Growing up, she was educated to work inside the house, she was also trained by a Dunmer very skilled with blades. Her curiosity also made her lend some of her master’s spellbooks.

Her master used her as a blade in the dark, when he needed an unsanctioned resolve to a problem. Her master even lent her to an imperial friend of his. One day she decided to escape, but not before making a visit to her master in his study. Turns out all the training he provided to her became his demise. Just before she gave him his killing blow, she mocked him about his secret poor choice of literature, bawdy play book from where he got inspired to name her, The Lusty Argonian Maid. She fled Morrowind that night.

She avoided searching her past, or even her destiny for a time, worked as a scout to imperials, also did some assassinations. Being a natural killer, she decided to join the Dark Brotherhood, it was when the pieces of her puzzled past started to fit. But her past and destiny is way more puzzled than she suspects.

Previously to the Murkmire event I decide to play argonian themed quests in base game and previous DLCs. She helped other Saxhleel in Bal Foyen, Stonefalls, Grahtwood and even in a xanmeer in Coldharbour. In Shadowfen she hasn’t just helped her people, but also found more about the Shadowscales, the destiny that was taken from her. She met a peculiar argonian in Summerset called Choixth, and an unique couple in Sadrith Mora named Sun-in-Shadow and Eoki. After all that she met an imperial, Concordia Mercius of the Cyrodilic Collections, and that took Raises-Her-Rear into another set of adventures.

Unfortunately her adventures were put on hold, as of today when I logged into the game, after the big update, the PLAY button wasn’t available for her, only the RENAME button. Logged with another character, no in-game mail from ZOS, also no email at all. I suspect someone reported my character for some reason. If it was because of “inappropriate name”, as said before, the name is based on a character that’s in game lorebooks, and my character has almost 4 years since was created. As one college pointed out, someone could have reported my character because they were jealous and wanted the name for them. The last supposition has some basis, as I have been getting a lot of “nice name” in Murkmire zone chat, even in personal whisper chat.

I just want back the name I created for a character that I invested a lot of time.

Still trying to open a ticket on the website. I can log in, but when I click on support it appears as my account is logged out, and receive "Login Failed" as I try to login in that page. I'm going to try in-game report.

What do you mean by "that kinda of name"? What name should I use to RP?

My guess is the players that received a 3-day ban for character names chose names similar to the name Zos indicated was not permitted. So take care with what you choose for a new name.

Never received any ban in my account, I was playing with this character in Murkmire yesterday, just before they took the servers down for maintenance. As I log in today, the Rename button is there. And how the name is not permitted after almost 4 years playing with the character? As I wrote, a name based on a in-game lore book character.

This start to feel like bad troll but.. ERP-players are just so weird this might be real.

Dude, guild itself says they are brothel themed and you rp with prostitute name. (That name is like someone calling themselves candy or crystal)

Weird and creepy. I don't know what ZoS policy is on ERP but on most MMO it is not exactly something they want to endorse.

I would just ignore this thread if i did not find this extremely hilarous.

Someone must have reported you, otherwise that wouldn't have happened. I know a few people with awesome names who needed to change theirs despite being very harmless. Heck, even I have a character that could one day be forced to get a name change simply because it's a pun on a name of a real world person and real world names of celebrities or historic figures are not allowed.
Try writing to the support and see what they have to say about it. Your name is really tame if you ask me and should be allowed.
