the new system with block suck hardly

I don't know i was with a bit hope about this game, hope they don't break the gameplay but i have test pvp today after downloading and find a game where i got impression to have 500 pings with only 90ms and all of that cause the new terrible system with block and anim cut not working at all.

If u have shield to cast it really slow to get it up and it a really big problem in figth against many players to keep it up enougth fast and get window to kill someone. I don't know if it should work like that or if it a bug, but if not it really not enjoyable anymore.

So of course i don't have make attention what they wanted really do about this new change, but it really bad or i don't know if i m alone to find bad...that why i write message here.

    It's hard making out what your saying, but they didnt change anything regarding blocking. They just made it look smoother when your animation canceling

    All they did was change how the block communicates with the server. It was a performance enhancement on how it's calculated. While it has a smoother animation, the sum effect on the user is unchanged.

    Not only that, to have test a bit all class, there is some skill still cancelable animation using fast block like treillis from warden for ex, and some other not possible to cut anim with fasst block.
    The question why to have give some skill to get anim cut more fast and just remove some others?

    For ex shield from sorc and ligth armor shield can't be block cut animation. And not only sorc a lot of important skill from other class can't be animation cut using block.

    Otherwise, i got impression to have some classs more "slow" than before to just cast skill. like more time to cast, or just an impression i don't know. may be a bug?

    You aren't actually casting things slower. The speed at which things happen has not changed, only the visual feedback you get of it.

    I have speak with a lot friends in the game, and make some duels aswell ; all according my point of view, skill are more slow to cast and gameplay aswell.

    There is aswell bug or something , some skill can be stuck sometime during animation and make still some "kick of the game".

    For ex was with my guild yesterday and get "kick from the game to loging menu " 16 times in 2h. All time was just after i cast and anim cut it with switch weapon the "Time buble".

    According eso log aswell, my dk is pretty more slow than before ( -50% fast skill cast) to just activate skill, to see this difference i checked 2 figths 1 before the patch and 1 after ( where i not get crash ).

    Desync is a completely seperate issue relate to server/game performance. It has nothing to do with the new animation concept for block itself, just the way the game is running.

    I'm not so sure, I didn't have half the desync problems I had prior to this patch...
    I'm not going to blame it on block, I have skill delay in most area's of the game.
    Much worse in PVP BG's or cyro... they definitely broke something by changing something... :lol:

    Oh definitely. I mean ESO has a long history of desyncs, usually either associated with certain abilities or happening during high traffic times where the servers are crapping themselves. The latter I believe is what currently applies. :# It's just not the same as the different perception of animations in relation to blocking/block-cancelling.
