I been playing the game for hours, open chest, fight bosses and I have not seen another Murkmire Strongboxes; and out of 4 Murkmire Strongboxes that I have receive by completing the daily drop I only have receive 2 prices for the pet.

I think that something is wrong with drop rate.

You are not alone.. however hopefully your luck will improve. If not, you'll have to use tickets to get the pet.

    Hi there Traveler,

Thanks for contacting the Elder Scrolls Online Team. Geoff here!

I understand that you are having issues with gaining Fragments.

Unfortunately the drops are completely at chance. There is not guaranteed of what you will get. This is completely 100% working as intended.

You can gain Murkmire Strongboxes once per day (with a small chance of grabbing additional ones as drops). These containers house an assortment of new and returning items, including:

    Crafting materials
    Style items
Set items (from the Murkmire zone overland sets)
Trinkets you can sell for gold
    Motif chapters
    Wooden Grave-Stake Memento fragments
    Voriplasm Pet fragments

The loot rewards from coffers, chests, and bosses are not specific to player class or build, and can contain anything from their respective loot tables.
If you are continually getting the wrong type of loot, you may be having bad luck. Your chances could turn around at any time, so keep trying!
If you'd like to see a change in this system, we encourage you to submit feedback to our developers by using the /feedback function from within the game or if on console, submit your feedback on the forums.
Customer Support is not able to grant any loot items, but we wish you the best of luck.
I understand this may not be the resolution you were hoping for. I wish there was more we could do for you, and we greatly appreciate your understanding on the matter.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I would be more than happy to assist you.

    Warm Regards,
    Geoff

Your luck is still better than mine- I've had five boxes, and only one fragment for the pet ;) 100% agree the drop rate is much too low

Nope, it's working as intended. This event was designed to make it impossible to earn all the event rewards by actually playing the game. And if Zo$ ever claims that something is wrong with the drop rate, you can bet that it's a PR smokescreen to cover their tracks in pushing monetization of our events this hard.

Welcome to ESO in 2020 - where customers must now pay to win event rewards.
