Losing mouse key function in game

On a couple of occasions the last two nights I have lost any function from the mouse keys. The mouse-look still works and i can navigate my character with it but attack, shield and menu picks with the mouse key stopped working. My mouse works fine when out of the game so i don't think it is a mechanical or mouse driver issue.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is it a known bug?

If your mouse losing functionality is not a hardware issue, here are a few additional things you can check.- Add exceptions in your anti-virus software
- Disable hardware acceleration
- Drop your DPI on your mouse to it's native DPI
- Update the mouse drivers
- Lower graphical settings and the resolution
