So - I have never rocked Tremorscale before - but I like the 50% proc chance. Recommend or no?

Tremor used to be fantastic back when the proc was instant, made for great burst potential. But then the gave it a 1 second cast time on proc and it suddenly became useless in PvP as everyone easily moves out of range of the AoE in time.

Everybody has a lot of blue SPC necklaces from quest rewards. In fact, I just broke some down.

On the other hand, buying a gold one would actually be cheaper than upgading one of lesser quality.

On the third hand, how important is goldness when the five-piece bonus is unaffected ... especially in a set that's only used by those of us who don't do trials and hence don't have access to Olorime?

Spc is superior to olorime for pvp healing small groups that move a lot

I’ve found one barring Olorime allows you much greater control on its placement. I tend to use wall of elements, and it will only proc when I use that spell. And lasting so much longer, uptime is just as good, if not better than SPC. But you do need to run the trial to get it.

I still prefer SPC in 4-man-groups and PvP because it gives yourself more flexibility and more punch. Olorime for me seems good only in Trials. However, playing many years since release, I NEVER DID GET A SPC RESTO STAFF, no matter how often I do WGT or how often I am trading in Key Fragments.

I would happily pay 1. Mio gold for a SPC RESTO instead of buying another neckless.

Olorime is great, especially when you have a rotation that allows you to place it exactly where you want and one barring it allows you to use something like The Master’s Restostaff on the other bar. Its two disadvantages are it’s static once placed and players have to run into it (if only for a moment) to get the 30 second buff. I am constantly amazed how few players make a conscious effort to move into/through it.

SPC is very situational, but it is passive (in the sense that the other players don’t have to do anything to be hit). Bizarrely, one of the most beneficial places for SPC is Cloudrest, where often players are running around chaotically.

I sometimes use it when I want a damage boost and not have to worry about playing a certain way. Plus it looks cool. It's a lazy sunday piece!

It looks fantastic when worn by an Argonian. I would suggest just doing the dungeon instead though, on the day it is a pledge. It isn't that hard.

Very true. Also one of the easiest hard modes in the game.

    A fun gateway dungeon.

I also use it as a secondary set for fights with lots of movement so static sets like Ilambris are bad, or where Zaan doesn't work, like Sunspire.

No waaaay, its so easy to throw Olorime where you need it to be, can be cast every 10 seconds and lasts 30. Just fling a trap where u know folks will be soon and behold!

Edit: my bad, I meant in regards to SPC not Slimecraw, thats a awesome set I always carry for “just in case”

Not entirely sure whether Olorime is a match for Slimecraw’s berserker benefits...

Fortunately you can use both... healing and dealing.

It took me 1200 keys to get my Spell Power Cure Resto and Lighting staves. Many items were broken down and many cuss words were said until one fine day....I golded those puppies out! And, I got my 3 piece gold necklace/rings last time they were in the Golden. If I didn't already have them I would be doing the happy dance!

Just understand its second piece bonus is redundant with Combat Prayer, so if you’re near a healer who casts that (and they should, certainly in PvE), you’re wasting a set. But for solo play it can certainly be nice.
