every time i go to cyrodill, i have to type lfg and wait for kind soul to invite me, now there is solution to this, if zos makes crown player visible to all, we know where most of players are and we can join them, if you join crown group there will bonuses like bonus AD, if the crown player want private party, that person can hide the crown icon and make it only visible to his group members, but some one who want to lead just turns on his crown icon and ask people to join and if group is full, others can just follow and participate and help without having to join, they see crown and follow him, this system will help a lot organize the people in the map and lead them properly, rather than having people without group who are just running around and do not know what to do exactly, just simply let them see crown and follow, even if there is multiple crowns you can choose to follow one of them or help the other, this is by far in order and less confusing than current system.

They should implement a commander icon like GW2 has where if people want to make a group with random players from zone, they can make the icon visible and allow people to join.

I agree that the crown should be able to control when it is visible and it should not be visible and join able at all times. Some guild groups want to keep raids to guild members only.

The best way to find a group is to join a guild that does pvp events

There really isn't a "crown" or "commander" player in Cyrodiil unless there's an active emperor or a player holding the hammer for everyone to follow around. Or perhaps a particular Streamer that players want to follow around. Most of the time "crown" just refers to someone who's leading a group - it doesn't necessarily imply anything about their ability to organize players effectively for fights.

In terms of fight organizing, what you've mostly got is talkative Zone Generals (who may or may not have a group and may or may not know what they are talking about) who are happy to tell people where they "ought" to go, PUG leaders who will pick up players from zone chat, and guild leaders who usually pick up from their guilds first if they even pick up from zone at all. And then numerous players who fight when and where they want to. On a faction level, PVP is rather like herding cats.

I'm also not convinced that you need to be able to see group movements on the map if you aren't part of the group in question. For example, if you aren't part of a guild group, you don't need to be able to track their movements on the map to follow them around (or report their movements to the other factions, as has happened in the past). What you can do if you want to zerg-surf is watch the crossed swords on the map to spot conflicts or pay attention to zone chat when players call out likely fights. As you get more experience with paying attention to how, when, and where your faction fights, it becomes a lot easier to zerg-surf without needing the game to give you a crown tracking everyone's movements.

If you want a guaranteed group instead of waiting for someone to pick you up in zone, your best bet is to join a PVP guild that fits how you want to play. ZOS can't force people to lead raids, especially PUG raids, so you really are just hoping to get lucky that one or more of those players is on if you mostly group up in zone.
