Old World Bosses losing the will to fight

in the past 2 days I've fought 2 overland world bosses in base game zones which refused to hit me back, allowing me to kill them solo without a fight. surely this is not intended. I know for sure this happened on the orc WB in northern rivenspire.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

✭✭✭✭Had this problem on the PTS last night with mobs, and in the real game with some world bosses in Windhelm. My group and I were wailing on one that suddenly stopped moving and wouldn't fight at all. It was really strange.Legends never die

I for my part have skills with stun already, and the result of using those looks very different. Sewer guy just stood there drooling and spasming. He did not even raise a weapon once.
But... perhaps it was intended? In at least two cases the guys had been following fleeing players to their respective sewer entry ante-rooms where the spark suddenly left them. Or unintended, in which case it might be called an exploit...PC EU.

✭I've noticed this from several mobs, not just bosses, over the past few weeks. Guess since bosses take longer to kill it makes it more noticeable.

✭✭✭✭✭I hunt a lot of original alliance zone WBs and have noticed the same thing for at least a couple weeks now. Mid way through the fight, the boss sometimes randomly just stop fighting and stands there. It doesn't seem to be predictable or reliable when the boss chooses to do this. Sometimes I can back away a bit, circle and light attack and perhaps the boss may wake up and start fighting again. Sometimes not. Becuase of level scaling if you know anything about builds and have on level gear, blue/purple crafted its not hard.Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. No vid no did, I'd say. At lv 8, you don't even have one full skill bar, the first ult requires lv 12 if I remember correctly. So, I don't believe that's possible.

...several other mobs seem to sometimes "get stuck" and stand there doing nothing... as long as you stay in the same position that is. I found that if you dance around them, at some point they tend to quickly wake up and start being fun again...

That was my first thought but I'm ot invested enouh in calling someone a fraud over this to start anything on reddit or elsewhere.
With that said, if the WB wasn't hitting back it would be hard to kill it, level 8 or 48. Just time consuming.0 -
Scottfree2✭✭✭I've been seeing this behavior from open world and dungeon mobs for sometime now .. maybe a month or two .. some times u attack some random enemy in a dungeon and it may or may not fight back at all or will fight for a moment then stop etc.
Cant say ive noticed it on WBs but theres def something not right somewhere.1 -

✭I have seen this glitch with public dungeon bosses losing their will to fight since I came back to the game about a year ago. Long before the fight is over, they stop attacking and freeze in place, only twitching slightly from the damage. It feels like it's happening more often now, but I can't really say for sure.0 -

✭I like the ones that try to run away more then the ones that just give up and stand there but yes all npc's do / have seem to have lost the will to fight guess being so soft that they're dying to lvl 8 toons ( and yes you can have an full skill bar by this time,backed with cp and knowledge of game ) they just dont see reason to fight anymore lmfao or is it that the game we play has so many issues even the npc's are getting lag /loadscreens/ bluescreens we just dont see theirs 😆 😆 😆0 -

Imo you can start farming skyshards very early on (or buy them with crowns) and ultimates unlock with certain skill levels, not character levels.At lv 8, you don't even have one full skill bar, the first ult requires lv 12 if I remember correctly. So, I don't believe that's possible.
I made an alt and mainly level her by farming skyshards, getting xp mostly by discovering areas and wayshrines.
At lvl 6 she already has 10 skills unlocked and 5 skills morphed.
