I'd be up for a miniature Elden Root type notable bosmer home. It always seemed such a shame that massive beautiful tree was left to rot as it is. It looks like Molag Bal took it's soul along with ours to be honest.

A home styled like the cormount trees with maybe an elden temple on the property. Or really wow us and give a totally unique and amazing bosmer style. There is so much creativity that could be done with living tree homes.

I'll add my vote, I've been asking for a house version of the Glade in CoA2 for ages.
3 tree buildings, with ramps and ladders to upper chambers, water and waterfalls, and yeah if they want to glam it up a bit, one of those gorgeous bosmer temple structures in the center.

It'd be the first notable on offer in 2 years I'd be really excited about.

I noticed this when looking at the homes. They do seem to have been missed a touch. I have a necro bosmer so she is in Wraithhome but I recognise that a proper Bosmer manor is needed.

They also need more furniture! Bosmer are so lacking furniture-wise :/

A noteable house with and surrounded by some proper Valenwood jungle would be nice. Not the sparesly treed terrain they made base game "Valenwood".

Here are some images of a ~Bosmer aesthetic~ to whet people's appetite for a Wood Elf house
    • Tree-homes (using the hollowed out tree models with rooms in them, and ladders leading up to the canopy chambers)
    • Silvernar and City of Ash layout, high up, with vines, waterfall, a proper forest home not just a groudling pod.
    • Elden Root chamber for reference
    • The Grahtwood temple model with its stained-glass-like resin 'windows'

I am not saying this to be mean, just honest. My Gf and I always joke about how forgettable the wood elves are.

A notable Bosmer house would be nice, but please no more getting to a room by passing through a room like we see in the other homes. It would be nice to have a main room that branches out to other rooms.

This goes for all houses really. This way you could also get a view.

Elinhir Private Arena and Forgemaster Falls are the only houses I can think of that is like this. The houses in it are open, nor do they have a door...

I agree. One of the issues I have with the housing in this game is that the layouts are....well I don't know how to define it...lame?

It seems like they design a lot of rooms to be hallways or linear, that is we go through a room to get to a room. That might be necessary in a linear run dungeon, but not a house. The design philosophy is different for the different environments because the needs of each environment change.

True, the Alinor Crest Townhouse stands out to me as being one of the better layouts for this reason.

The worst offender imo (off the top of my head) is the Amaya Lake Lodge in Vvardenfell. I absolutely love the house aesthetic, but I cant stand that you have to go through rooms to get to other rooms. The entire house is like a large hallway. The worst is the room outside up top. That part of the house should have its own entrance.

Ald Velothi Harbor House is much much better, but it's so far away from anything, including a wayshrine that it just feels pointless. I love the layout though. The biggest issue I have with this house is the pillar in the middle of the room in the basement. Kinda destroys any real use of the space.

Gonna necro this again. As of March 2024, the largest Wood Elf home is still Gorinir Estate. Shame, too, since the upcoming PTR has yet another Redguard house, and it might even be the biggest one yet. Also another large Blackwood/Leyawiin-themed home. Still no Bosmer love... :(

we will likely get a notable bosmer home in the West Weald zone in the upcoming chapter.
Dawnwood is the perfect place for it and there'll be new assets instead of only Valenwood assets.
