Well, it's possible that the "maintenance" has to do with smoothing the path for the redownload. But I still don't see what the OP is meaning.

Also the update?DLC is next Monday, not this Thursday.

It is the Murkmire event that starts on Thursday, that doesn't require a patch to get it started

Uh yeah, it has nothing to do with the closeness of thursday or anything to do with thursday for that matter. It was a 3 day weekend for presidents day so this is Sunday's maintenance one day later lol.
