Are outfits from crown store just equitable?

So, this may be a silly question but the outfits you can view in the crown store are under the crafting section. If I purchase one of these outfits, am I just able to equip the pieces like I normally would for an outfit or does it actually have to do with crafting?

The style pages are just styles you can equip at the outfit station (but not craftable styles).

The motifs are both craftable styles and equipable as outfits at the station.

The costumes are just set costumes you can put on over your equipment to look like that costume and you equip those from the U tab.

I’m referring to when you are in the store and you click crafting and the outfit style section.

I'm not in the game at the moment, so I can't look at exactly what you are saying.

But they are all labeled pretty much as I just said:

under crafting there are usually two types:

Motifs - these are both craftable styles and usable as outfit pieces at the outfit station.

And style pages, like the ancient dragonhunter pages, or the boss pages they put in like valkyn skoria style - those are only able to be used as outfit pieces and not craftable styles.


Also: Motifs are learned on a particular character only for crafting, but to use in the outfit station, they are account wide. So if you learn one on your crafter, even your alt can at least make an outfit piece out of it.

Style pages work this way, doesn't matter which character learns it, every character can use it as a style piece.
