DOCTOR'S ORDERS (Vet Scalecaller Peak)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skNWnfKw9L8&feature=youtu.be

The achievement reads "defeat Plague Concocter Mortieu in Veteran Scalecaller Peak with four living group members all suffering from two of Mortieu's infections simultaneously." Previously I thought to myself, well that's easy we just burn the boss after we get poisoned without curing ourselves but it's a little bit more detailed than that.

So a few things to keep in mind for the first phase of the fight

1) No one can die, if someone dies, you have to reset the fight for the achievement.

2) You have to kill the imps that spawn to make Jorvuld, the friendly NPC, create a cure.

3) Not a single person can touch the cure AOE Jorvuld puts down for you or you have to reset the fight. We had to reset
the fight many times because of accidentally touching the cure so I would highly recommend just staying away from the middle of the room.

Otherwise, keep pushing the boss's health so you can kill him immediately once the second phase of the fight starts.

Once you get to the 2nd add phase, you need to prioritize killing the stranglers before any other add as you taked increased
damage in your poisoned state, then you keep your healing up and be very careful to not get hit by the boss's fire lines.

Once Jorvuld finally finishes his second cure, you can kill the boss and that's how you get the Doctor's Order achievement.

    DAEDRIC DEFLECTOR (Vet Scalecaller Peak)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZCZY_Fv_3s

Basically to break this achievement down, no one can die to one of the three poison cones that emanate from the statue of Peyrite during the fight.

If someone dies to a cone, you have to reset the fight in order to retry for the achievement.

Next, we need to take note that this achievement can only be achieved on hard mode as we do need to trigger hard mode by
reading Zaan's Ritual Scroll, so the difficulty of the fight definitely ramps up so for those of you who have gone through nightmarish runs for pledges in Scalecaller Peak with pug groups, I highly recommend going in with three others who can coordinate with you for this achievement.

Okay so do hard mode, don't die to poison cone, but the tricky part with the Daedric Deflector achievement is this juggling of
    the avoidance methods.

At certain points throughout the fight based on Zaan's health, a wipe mechanic occurs which is all three poison comes coming out from the Peyrite statue, to avoid getitng killed by this mechanic, each of the four people in the group needs to take a different avoidance method every time.

The moment you get stoned twice or you take ice or the geyser or shield avoidance method twice, you need to reset the fight.

Now some people say that this achievement is easier with just 3 people rather than 4 but in this video we did it with four people.

And while high group DPS is always preferred, it's best to note regardless of your DPS, you need to focus the adds first and then during this focus on staying closer to the statue to avoid getting the larger end of a poison cone while you take care of mechanics.

This achievement can be quite challenging and will test your situational awareness but it's very rewarding once you get it.

Just to show you guys how we did it, we basically assigned a rotation per person in the group as to which avoidance method
to use for every wipe phase. You guys can write or type this down if you'd like and simply use it as a template to help your group get this achievement.

    OATHBREAKER (Vet Falkreath Hold)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h44rIlbZDyY&feature=youtu.be

The Oathbreaker achievement reads "While fighting Cernunnon and his oath-bound, banish all three of the spiritmasters' souls within five seconds of each other throughout the fight in Veteran Falkreath Hold.

Basically you just have to, on at least two occasions depending on your group DPS, kill these three bosses and carry their souls which appear as faintly lit circles to the glowing ritual pads. Only one person can pick up one soul, so basically assign three players to three pads for them to bring the souls to.

Five seconds should be plenty of time especially with the strat shown in the video, you can't stack the ice mage onto the other two archer and melee bosses believe me I died trying!

You want to make sure you stack either the melee boss onto either of the ranged bosses and make sure all three die within relatively the same timespan so you have plenty of time to carry the souls to whichever pads without them reviving before the time is up.

Don't be confused when the achievement doesn't pop up during the fight as it will only pop up after the fight.

FRIEND OF THE TREES (Vet Lair of Maarselok)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=it-t6FLMfK4&feature=youtu.be

In the fourth episode of ESO Achievement Hunter we take a quick look at "Friend of the Trees", a veteran mode Lair of Maarselok achievement one can get.

The Friend of the Trees achievement reads "Defeat Maarselok on his perches without defeating any Azureblight Lurchers in Veteran Lair of Maarselok."

Your group should carry on with the fight normally and have your tank take the Azureblight Lurchers that spawn (only two will spawn) and tank/kite them around until the end of the fight.

If one dies, you will need to reset the fight.

    EPIC UNDERTAKING (Vet Falkreath Hold)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKrSNvvzNW8&feature=youtu.be

In this 5th episode of our series with the help of Kodiak (twitch.tv/kodiak9oh7), we take a look at "Epic Undertaking", a veteran mode Falkreath Hold dungeon achievement one can get from the Horns of the Reach DLC pack.

Now the achievement reads "While fighting Deathlord Bjarfrud Skjoralmor in veteran Falkreath hold, have your group cleanse
15 corpses within the span of five seconds."

This achievement took our group a lot of tries because we simply couldn't figure out what in the Vivec's underwear was going on.

How we weren't getting 15 corpses, how simply waiting while passively killing the two stronger adds that spawned every phase wasn't working, did I leave my oven on, so many questions plagued our minds until a nice fellow on the Twitch stream gave us a little hint.

Instead of killing the two adds that spawn every phase, your group needs to keep every single archer and melee enemy alive,
they die very very easily to damage over time Area of Effect attacks so as you can see in this video, we're minding our positioning, taking the boss' health lower as we go in preparation to finish the achievement.

We also have someone else, the healer, slot a taunt to take the boss away while the tank stacks what they can on another side of the room.

Now the boss and the adds once they accumulate can hit pretty hard, so whoever has the taunt on the boss if it's a DPS or healer doing it, needs to roll dodge the heavy attacks.

I think it's probably easier in terms of add management and not getting one shot by multiple things at the same time for the tank to take care of the adds and a healer or DPS take care of the boss. At least this is how we did it fairly easily.

Eventually, because we really really sucked at doing a headcount, we made sure to wait a considerable amount of time and decided it was probably alright to kill everything.

Once we did, we had to make sure to fulfill the second component of the Epic Undertaking achievement which is to make sure we cleanse at least 15 of the corpse souls within five seconds of cleansing the first.

Due to how we stacked the adds, it was fairly simple for us to relay to each other when to use the synergy to cleanse the corpses.

Unlike many other achievements that pop up after the boss fight, if you do this achievement correctly, the Epic Undertaking achievement should pop up before you kill the boss.

ROOT OF THE PROBLEM (Vet Moonhunter Keep)

ON A SHORT LEASH (Vet Moonhunter Keep)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPBW3MFsw-k

Once you understand when the wolves Ary and Zel come back into the fight and keep a comfortable pace with the werewolf add spawns, the achievement is pretty easy, Potentially you may need your tank to run 3x Swift jewelry, otherwise try just Charging Maneuvers first with any class or non-class ability that grants additional movement speed.

If a single person gets even tapped by either Ary or Zel, you must reset the fight.

STRANGLING COWARDICE (Vet Moon Hunter Keep)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRofjYqsiho&feature=youtu.be

As a foreword, it bears mentioning that the Strangling Cowardice achievement at the moment can be cheesed or glitched out to where you can get it but in this video we came up with a way to actually get it without needing to do so.

The achievement reads "Defeat Vykosa the Ascendant after reading the Scroll of Glorious Battle, defeating 7 Stranglers and never causing her pet wolves to cower in Veteran Moon Hunter Keep."

To break it down, this achievement basically wants you to turn on hard mode, have the DPS kill seven stranglers at any point during the fight before you kill the boss while also not completely taking down the health of her pet wolves Zel and Ary during the fight even once. Our solution to getting the Strangling Cowardice achievement was to actually have us go all the way to the last boss fight, have one of us swap to being a second tank
    then proceed from there.

It took us a few tries but basically what you will want to do is put one tank on Vykosa and have the tank also help handle the werewolf adds that spawn if need be, while the two DPS carefully control the pace of the fight by not pushing Vykosa past certain health increments unnecessarily. In this video before we reached 50% health on Vykosa, the two DPS decided to kill the 7 stranglers.

The two DPS were incredibly attentive and also communicated clearly with the tank holding Zel and Ary when the pet wolves would aggro onto them so they could roll dodge if need be. Also it helped a lot that they killed the warden adds that spawned during this fight.

Furthermore in the video you will notice that MemeDankExtra who logged onto becoming the second tank is handling the two wolf pets Zel and Ary, it is advised thatt you go with a safe setup for both tanks if need be as everything can start to hurt depending on both the group DPS and the pace of the fight.

Once the group gets close to execute on Vykosa, the librarian mage who was the previous boss will spawn and do his annoying rune phase where you have to play Blue's Clues and stand in the correct rune spots.

It's advised for the Vykosa tank to start hovering near the middle so they can get to a spot rather than being on one end of the boss area as that can kill you.

Please note that both the wolf pets and Vykosa along with other adds cannot be taunted during this rune phase and everyone will need to be prepared to roll dodge or avoid adds once the rune phase is over. If need be you can play it safe and go through another rune phase to guarantee the run.

    WILDLIFE SANCTUARY (Vet Bloodroot Forge)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCJH_4ljvI4

The Wildlife Sanctuary achievement reads, "Defeeat Caillaoife without allowing any Nirnblooded creatures to remain within her Nature's Preservation barrier for more than three seconds while in veteran Bloodroot Forge."

We had to wipe a decent amount of times as we tried to figure the easiest way to get this achievement.

But basically here's what you do, have your tank taunt the Hagraven boss, if she teleports, make sure she gets put in the middle of the area as all add spawns on three sides of the area per sanctuary phase.

You will need the tank to go towards the exit stairs where the bear will always spawn as the bear hits the hardest and have two people on one side and one person on the other side as seen in the video.

This will ensure that the adds who aggro onto people will not go through the Hagraven's AOE or spawn in the AOE every single time. This is not a DPS race so take your time to get this achievement.

You will need to wipe if an add strays or goes througgh the preservation barrier for more than 3 seconds. You can tell which add did so by looking closely at their heads, there should be a floating red orb over them if they had stayed in the sanctuary for too long.

If you see a red orb over the heads of any of the nirnblooded creatures, you need to reset the fight to get this achievement.

    ELEMENTARY ANATOMY (Veteran Fang Lair)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQKlWX484l8

Elementary Anatomy reads: "Deactivate each of Caluurion's Relics using elemental Bonefiends in Veteran Fang Lair" Mammoth, Wamasu, Serpent, Lurcher and Shalk Relics are the five listed. Now you don't really have to do all of them at once in one go but in this video we do every single one of them in one run.

A lot of groups struggle with destroying the relics once they activate as they
have a decently high amount of health and also cause mechanics respective to each type of relic such as shock AOEs with the Wamasu relic and roots from the Lurcher relic.

However a neat trick to destroying each relic which also conveniently ties
in with the achievement Elementary Anatomy itself is to simply place the adds that spawn during the Caluurion fight onto or near the relics which will take significant damage from their explosions.

The elemental bonefiends don't have to be entirely killed off either for this explosion to occur as you can also proc their explosions with proximity as shown in this video.

Again it takes a little while for you to do each and every relic and this achievement can be done over multiple runs with different relics.

    NONPLUSSED (Veteran Fang Lair)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0_S2GkpzYs&feature=youtu.be

The Haunting Specre in this case refers to the stun that the ghost can inflict on players. If you get stunned by the ghost, you will have to reset the fight

First thing I would highly recommend for any group trying to get this is to have each person in your 4 man group stand at 4 different directions. This makes getting the achievement much easier as seen in the video and if you maintain a little bit of distance this can go a long way to help your reaction time to the Haunting Spectre attack. If you tank this you can also back up when you notice that it starts looking at you more intently.

    STARVED SCARABS (Veteran Fang Lair)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFN4QPSUeQo&feature=youtu.be

    The achievement reads:

"Defeat Oryn the Black and Thurvokun without any party members being hit by a Giant Scarab's Degenerative Acid in veteran Fang Lair."

Note that you don't need to activate hard mode for the Thurvokun last boss fight as this will spawn two shalks which can increase the likelihood of a teammate, specifically the tanks that draw their aggro initially, getting hit by their DoT + snare Degenerative Acid attack.

On non hard mode, this achievement is fairly easy to get. As the tank you can roll dodge Thurvokun's Scarab attack which accomplishes two things:

First, you gain some distance away from the scarab spawn point which gives you a headstart in running away to gain some distance and to avoid being attacked. You also do have the option to root the Shalks if you have a root option such as Dragonknight talons before it starts attacking as it spawns next to you.

Second, you also avoid the heavy attack damage by roll dodging Thruvokun's shalk attack.

It also helps if your group can focus down the shalks as seen in this video to guarantee the Starved Scarabs achievement. Once you go through the motions of the last boss fight and kill Orryn the Black and Thurvokun the achievement should pop up.

The achievement is called Minimal Animosity and it reads: "Defeat Orryn the Black and Thurvokun while only destroying a maximum of one Animus Crystal before Orryn merges with Thurvokun in Veteran Fang Lair."

It's advised that you kill one crystal anyway as not doing so won't spawn the golden wall of ghosts if you can't skip that phase.

Note that while you can get this on veteran or veteran hard mode, it's much harder and riskier so that's up to you, as said before you can get this achievement relatively easily on normal mode.

    HORRIFIC HALITOSIS (Veteran Fang Lair)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAgVSL5vzmM

The achievement is called Horrific Halitosis and it reads: "When hit by Thurvokun's Plague Breath in Fang Lair, be under the protection of Yisareh's Life Ward while standing in direct contact with three other party members who also have Yisareh's Life Ward."

Yisareh's Life Ward refers to when four golden pads appear in each of the four quadrant sections of the boss fight area. Once a player gets one pad each, they will have a golden glow on themselves which will almost entirely mitigate the damage from Thurvokun's Plague Breath attack which he channels and carries out after going up onto a perch to do so.

Once every player has this pad buff, you all have to stack within each other, in time for the Plague Breath attack however for whatever reason the achievement Horrific Halitosis simply doesn't register sometimes even when your Plague Breath AOEs are touching one another which is why in this video we're literally stacking in each other very passionately.

Note that while you can get this on veteran or veteran hard mode, it's much harder and riskier so that's up to you, as said before you can get this achievement relatively easily on normal mode.

    PUSTULENT PROBLEMS (Veteran Scalecaller Peak)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhLG5yQkGzk

Pustulent Problems achievement reads: "Defeat Rinaerus the Rancid and Orzun the Foul-Smelling, Doylemish Ironheart, Matriarch Aldis, Plague Concocter Mortieu and Zaan the Scalecaller without a single group member taking damage from a Skeever's Pestilent Pus in veteran Scalecaller Peak."

We will be showing you every skeever encounter and how we dealt with them in this video. One thing to note is that being hit by any Skeever's Pestilent Pus during the Ogre Twins fight actually does count against the achievement so you will need to reset the entire dungeon instance. Making sure to bash the Ogre in the middle before he summons a large amount of skeevers is always good.

To explain further, in Scalecaller Peak there are these plague ridden skeevers when upon being killed by your group basically become a nice cocktail bomb of disease and germs. This manifests in a large AOE per skeever that starts shooting out the Pestilent Pus at group members if they stand in the AOE.

The skeevers and their Pestilent Pus can be dealt with by having the tank taunt them away from the rest of the group or rooting or snaring them such as with Dragonknight Talons or Necromancer's Grasping Hands or having the entire group transition to one side or another whether it's the way you're going or the way you're coming from.

A neat thing to know about these AOEs is that they take a while to actually form so you don't have to reset if you do find yourself just stepping out of one right before the Pestilent Pus actually goes out.

By the time you get to Zaan the last boss of the dungeon and no one in the group has been hit at all by a skeever's pestilent pus, it's safe to turn on hard mode if you want to do the hard mode or just clear it on non hard mode, the Pustulent Problems achievement will pop up after the dungeon is cleared.

STALWART SISTERHOOD (Veteran March of Sacrifices)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ontmkej14Sk

Stalwart Sisterhood reads: "Defeat the Wyrd Sisters while preventing them from ever using their auras to augment each other in Veteran March of Sacrifices."

For this achievement, there's no need to overthink it, the problem is the sister with the sword and board as she often charges across her other sisters' auras sometimes to target random players in your group, meanwhile the Mage and the Archer are ranged and will naturally stay apart until one of them ports or moves.

So you can have the tank actually taunt the sword and board Wyrd sister down one part of the mound the boss fight takes place on, this will ensure line of sight is broken between the rest of your group and this Wyrd sister so she doesn't touch the other auras.

Once the two other Wyrd sisters die, the group can simply come to the tank or have the tank bring the boss out towards them so they can finish the fight. If you noticed in the video, once one sister dies, their literal spirit animal is conjured and their auras are still visible however these auras do not count towards the Wyrd Sisters being augmented or augmenting each other towards the achievement so if the last Wyrd sister steps into one of these spirit animal auras, then it's okay to keep going instead of wiping to reset the fight.

SEASONAL SLAYING (Veteran March of Sacrifices)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34Rva88Tmi0

The Seasonal Slaying achievement reads "Defeat Aghaedh of the Solstice while making sure to defeat all of her Lurchers within their primary season in veteran march of sacrifices."

So, this achievement has been bugged in the past where after basically just ignoring any Lurcher that spawns and burning the boss still got you this achievement but if you want to know how to do it the legitimate way in the event that the bug was fixed or if it gets fixed at the time of you watching this video, you basically have to wait for 4 Lurchers to spawn, now each of the 4 Lurchers will be a different type, we have the Autumn Lurcher, the Frost Lurcher, the Budding Lurcher and the Blaze Lurcher.

Why they just didn't continue naming the other three after seasons I don't know but regardless, you have to take each Lurcher to their respective colored AOEs as seen in the video, each of the 4 people in the group must use a synergy that is revealed on their corpse, this synergy will give you a shield for the spriggan boss's wipe mechanic so you can survive and finish the fight to get the Seasonal Slaying achievement.
