[PC EU] another bot attack in guild traders ?

Wish we have a trading section under general so I stop spamming these threads here but ... sorry all again that's me again. Me and my buddies are reporting for a while but they keep coming

I will just post only one screenshot and again leave it all to you (several guilds same names, source: a guy with lots of data)

Only way they are going to do something about bots if bots start to farm something whales usually buy from crown store.. So basicly nothing will be done.

I can also confirm that. I have seen a similar thing but not with just chitins but Dreughwax. I dismissed it as that guy had no hobbies, but since those incidents keep appearing, maybe there really is some new bot in action.

Same thing is happening with cornflower, ladys smock, namiras rot and water hyacinth, prices are going up up up lately.

Apparently bots had stopped for 2-3 weeks but now they are full in force!

Whatever materials, I see the same names posting EVERY SINGLE DAY 10 + stacks of 200 raw materials of different categories, usually 10-20% below any reasonable value. And the next day, they are back, with another 10+ stacks of identical 200 raw materials that are simply impossible to gather in a day.

I have even tried purchasing all what they put out on all the guild traders in game but nothing. It's really new farmed stuff every single day, it's endless. I tried grinding for 12 hours raw mats in a semi-deserted region and even then, I could produce 3-4 stacks of 3 materials a day. Not 10+ stacks every day!

As additional proof, I am member of multiple trading guilds alliances. The same names can sell 10 stacks of X, plus 10 of Y, plus 10 of Z in alliance guild 1, then the same material in another 10 stacks in alliance guild 2 and same in guild 3.

How can an human EVER gather EVERY SINGLE DAY 10 x 200 stacks of say Rubedite Ore and sell them on guild 1, then another 10 Rubedite Ore stacks on guild 2 and then 10 Rubedite ore stacks on guild 3? It's 6k Rubedite ore "gathered" per day, every day!

You can only achieve that buying out a lot of guild traders stock OR by having 10+ bots running around all day long.

Since I bought out all guild traders stock for days and they still sell 6k of same material (multiplied for every material they farm!), the only other possibility is that they are botting the BEGEEZUS of materials.


And ZOS, what did they do?

SMARTLY, they created +speed gear sets so that I see these bots running as fast as a mount, running all day long to the same nodes (even when there's no mineral / flower crop!) and then run to the next.

From what I understand, if you are in a group, everyone in that group gets a chance at a drop when someone kills something.
So theoretically everyone could get 1 unit of Mudcrab Chitin from the same single mudcrab you killed. And that's why bots run around in stacks when they can -- they group to exploit how drops are handled.
In higher visibility locations if you see a single toon botting they are probably not professionals.

I wish we had that on PC/NA. Mat prices are getting ridiculous. I don't support botting but farmers can be greedy af.

You know you can farm your own mats anytime you want, right? Players who spend their time farming mats to sell to others that don't want to spend the time to farm should be able to sell their mats at a considerable profit.

And I'm talking about FARMERS not Bots - Bots are bad for everyone.

I believe it maxes out at 12 players. If there are more than 12, then 12 random players who did damage will get the dropped items, even if they are not in the same group.
