Are the servers busted or something?

For the last few hours, ESO NA has been a total pain in the ass, my ping swings from 200 to 800 (I'm in Australia, it's normally a stable 250ish) and I'm getting booted back to the login screen constantly, at this rate it's unplayable.

Are you getting booted during a load screen by chance? I just had this happen when trying to go from davons watch, to my house through the collection menu.

Edit to add: But, I was able to jump right back in again after typing my password, no problem.

During load screens, at character selection, just randomly... SOmetimes I can get back on, other times there is not even a news list on the login screen and I have to wait 5 minutes.

It's been fine the last 2 weeks I've come back to playing, no issue until today.

It's a long way between us and the server. Anything could be going on. Im used to a *** connection

It appears normally slow from New Zealand this morning. 250-300 ms from my house.

Check your TRACERT and see if you are being divert to the north through South East Asia. (TRACERT 198.20.198.110 in a command window.)

Your path should disappear into Akamai somewhere in Sydney, which won't reply to your path request once it's in their system.

Well a net speed test to TX gives me 218 ping, 58.40 Down and 2.85 Up... which is normal, But on ESO it's all over the place, this is definitely an ESO thing, not even our discord server in the US is wonky and that can fluctuate sometimes.

Ping from Australia to the US is basically throwing a dart at the "wtf is going to screw with me today" board and seeing what sticks.

Not having a land path to anyone else sucks for current internet infrastructure.

I’m having the same problem, game keeps disconnecting every 2-10 minutes. Been like this for last 6-7 hours. I’m also PC NA & playing in Australia. Never had issues with disconnects before, but game is unplayable at the moment.

It's happening to me too. Australia as well. I play on EU but my kids play on NA and it's affecting all of us.
Extreme lag, and constant disconnects, which leave me unable to re-login unless I completely close the game, wait a few minutes and then restart it.

It started last night for me at about 1am.

Happening to me in Australia as well. Xbox NA. Got DCd about 5 times in an hour last night, and 3 times today.

All other on line games are working fine

Yep! Same here.
It is definitely an ESO thing for everything else from NA streams just fine.

Well, I'm just trying to do some crafting in Mournhold... But if ppl should not play on the weekends... then ZOS has some bigger issues with servers than I thought...
I mean we don't get an AU server because of the "empter atmosphere" and then we get kicked to login because of too many ppl... In general I'm pretty sure most ppl will prefer an "emptier atmosphere" (where I can collect resources without 50 pll trying to get the same thing) as opposed to just not even being able to play... But screw us I guess...
