why aren't assignable guild halls a thing yet?

as the title suggests, why are guild leaders / officers able to assign a guild hall to a guild yet? with a button or even a hall tab listing guild locations on the guild menu?

i'd love to make my primary residence my primary for friends to hang out in my personal house, for roleplaying and so on, but also maintain the guild hall for those who'd like to be there instead, but i am incapable of doing this because my primary residence requires my guild hall to be set up otherwise noone can get to it.

can we please make this possible?

Guild halls are inevitable IMO. I’ve got no proof, just a gut feeling. It’s pretty much the only thing I’m actually 100% sure they’ll eventually add.

yeah i think so too, but it'd be nice to know that they are either working on it or want to do it. i'd be pretty satisfied with that and i think others would be too.

Maybe the reason they haven’t is that they don’t want players to largely live in private spaces. One side effect of having cool guild houses is that many public spaces might become less populated, which in turn would make the game feel less busy or populated.

Alinor and Vivek City are still busy because they present well laid out, resourced crafting and activity centres. ZOS aren’t going to be keen on developing something that, no matter how attractive, might massively reduce the perception of population size.

You can have a primary residence for guild activities and still use another house for RP or group events as long as you are in it and they have visitor permissions.
