Xbox Lag is unplayable

I’m taking a break until ESO is fixed. Been playing since day one. We can’t even play in PVP at night. I had high hopes they were going to fix this.

Not even PvP...

Ps. I havent been to Cyrodiil for the last 3 days because... impossible to play at this point!

Could you give more information? I have been getting different results on different platforms and servers.

PS4 here: Latest quick patch fixed the blue screens but it increased the lag everywhere, Pve n Pvp...

Hit boxes are goofy, skills arent firing even after pressing the button 4 or 5 times. Ultis dont fire or fire multiple times but dont actually go off, Rubberbanding around. Cyrodiil is unplayable if you want to be competitive atm and it started with that garbage patch last week

Yay update 25 is going to fix things. Doesn't matter that we basically had a quarter of the year with rubbish performance, blue screens and now lag.

Xbox eu has been laggy for months, even in non populous areas (and even in a 1x with ssd)
Update 25 needs to sort stuff out

I dont know... I kinda like the lag now. It's like sitting down reading a good book and you can smell the pages.

AFAIK the only thing they've said is to submit a ticket in game, which is a bit ridiculous considering the character limit and then having to go through the whole email rigmarole.

There have been plenty of people describing the exact issues on the forums, so I'm not sure why it's so difficult for them to pass that info on to those who need it.

I assume you'll be on permabreak, I remember the Midyear Mayhem 2016 edition on Xbox EU when I really got frustrated with the Cyrodiil lag and crashes. Cyrodiil performance was supposed to be somekind of priority for Zenimax back then, I was patient then and thought the performance would surely be much better in the next year's Mayhem when they have time to fix, now it's the year 2020 and the same lag just changing some periodically back and forth, also the same "we are looking into it, no eta...soon" phrases are still going strong even at this point.

I got handed out my break for my main Xbox EU account with the Wrathstone download, which made logging in completely impossible so it's been so now for over 11 months, no fixes as usual. My clear constructive questions get completely ignored in Xbox technical support section, after I got annoyed for a reason the last post I made got removed after few days without any mentioning for such removal as they usually do, I don't think that was too respectful, but I can play that game too...and will. It's like Zenimax acts like everything is completely fine when they ignore problems, same with the lag, any level of lag and it just works for them!

Agreed! Exactly the same thing is happening to me. Also XBOX NA.

They're just waiting until the update to fix anything, cause I'm sure there will be a whole new array of problems just like PC has right now. But for now, performance in IC is still good FYI.

Hmm... are you PvP'ing prime time? I've been very active in IC and BGs the past month, as well as progression runs, and it hasn't been nearly bad enough to make me want to quit, both prime time and early mornings before work. It must be Cyro-specific then, because all other PvP and PvE areas have been about average. Not great by any means, but definitely playable at a high level. Xbox NA.

It seems to be isolated, or at least the most severe, in Cyrodiil. One of the few places where performance is critical....

Mine is hit and miss. I will log on and it will be unplayable. Things firing off 10 secs after i use it. the world stalling for seconds or even as bad as I am able to play for 3 seconds out of every 10.

I log out and log back in and it will be fine. Makes you wonder if sometimes you connect to some network route.

Yeah I started in Laat last night. It was fine so I figured I'd check on Kaal. Ran outside Roe, had a hilarious "fight" with two DC (it was mostly just me trying to get a shield up while yelling at my TV), ran back inside and ported to West gate. Went back to Laat, its way smoother. It only has the normal amount of ESO lag, which I'm fine with.

The issue on Xbox NA is not nearly as bad in Laat, No-CP (Ba...something), Imperial City or BGs. Bit less zergy too (except DC. Always zerging in IC).
