Question regarding Craglorn group content

Admittedly, I largely play PvE solo overland. So, most of my Craglorn experience has been farming crafting nodes. I found that for two guilds I am in, many share a similar experience and expressed interest in trying to do some guild group up stuff in Craglorn.

However, I'm a bit confused because online it says much of the Craglorn group content is meant for 2-4 players. Does this mean that it caps you at 4 players? Or could a larger group go in and do the content?

I know, obviously, I could take my folks through a world boss tour there, a skyshard hunt, and a delve hunt. And I know the trials are a 12-man thing and that's not what we're really looking at.

Can the 2-4 man group delves and group points of interest (such as Skyreach or Spellscar) - basically, the map locations with the plus sign - be done in larger groups or does the game restrict your access (such as only having 4 players in a Group Dungeon)?

    Some instanced delves and such are 4 man only. These will have a 'plus' sign next to their icon. Overland you could roam in a 24 man group if you want.

    most of the delves (instanced content) that require groups with the + symbol next to them will only allow 4 people inside the instance. there are other non isntanced areas like the nirncrux mines and the like that allow as many people as you like. there are also many lower craglorn delves that are just like other delves that allow anyone inside.

    Perfect, thank you. That's what I thought the plus signs meant (forced into a 4-person instance with no choice to bring in a larger group) but wanted to be sure first. Definitely didn't want to post in MOTD "Doing all the Craglorn stuff Saturday!" and then have a bunch of confusion and disappointment when we can't go into a plus sign delve.

    That helps me keep it just to the world bosses/nirncrux mines, skyshards, and delves without the plus sign.

    The group delves are fun to solo if you're into the challenge. And the group oriented quest places.

    Thank you, I've been struggling to work Craglorn out too. I managed to solo some +delves and the spellscar daily but then three of us were totally wiped and outmatched in another + place.

    If you are going for delve completion (ie, killing the bosses) for the group delves, you will need to split into groups of up to 4.

    If you are doing the quest line and just need to go in to complete quest steps, I think people can take turns going in to the delve.

    Spellscar can be done in a group, but only 4 people at a time can go into the tower part, but once you kill the boss there, the remaining people in the group only have to step in and out to complete the daily.

    Elhinir daily quest has no limit for how many players can go in, but the other ones (Rahni-Za, Seeker's Archive and Shada's Tear, as well as the 3 Skyreach delves are limited to 4 players.

    I'm not sure if any of the Northern Craglorn delves are still group delves or not.

    But by all means, there are achivements for killing all of the world bosses of each type, so that's definitely something you can do in a larger group. We've done it fairly regularly in our guild.

    All of the northern Craglorn delves are now standard delves, not group delves.

    Craglorn's group content is fun for testing your solo skills once you get a little more comfortable with playing your character.
    I still haven't managed to clear absolutely everything in Craglorn solo, and for some of the content I doubt I ever will, but I've had a lot of fun trying!

    I would say group delves are about the same as public dungeons.
    Some other group content in Craglorn can be significantly harder.
    Daily quests that are reasonably easy to run solo are Elinhir, Spellscar and Skyhold Pinnacle.
    Seeker's Archive is not very difficult either.
    Skyreach Catacombs, including the quest that takes you downstairs, is a real challenge, barely soloable for me.
    And I still haven't managed to clear Rahni'Za or Shada's Tear by myself.

    Been a long time since I've ran through the Craglorn stuff. I was able to solo it all on a magsorc back when 30k shields were a thing though if that helps in anyway.

    I was able to solo much of Craglorn, but there are significant challenges. I had to re-think my build, specs, and CPs before I could solo Shada's Tear and Rahni'Za.

    I still needed help for the last boss in Skyreach Catacombs. I just needed a little bit more DPS help...

    For the group delves, the trash is public-dungeon level, but the final boss is a bit harder. I'd say like soloing an easy group dungeon's last boss.

    For the dailies (like Skyreach, Shada's Tear, etc) you want to bring another player(s) if you can.

    They are pretty interesting.
