Murkmire firestones still bugged - cannot complete vine tongue achieve

I didn't want to necro the old bug thread for Deroh-Zah and the firestones; I believe that has been fixed as I didn't have any problems with that quest.
A month ago, I finished the Murkmire area except for a few achieves and I poke at them every time I do the dailies. The problem is that I've been trying to get the Vine-Tongue achieve and no matter what I do, the firestone button does not show up. Without firestones activating, I cannot even begin this achievement, let alone progress.
What I've done thus far:
Watched videos to see if I'm standing in the wrong place. Nope.
Disabled all addons and libraries. Nothing.
Restarted client. Nada.
Restarted computer. Zip
So far, zero things that I've tried work.
If you have any input as to something I may be missing, please let me know, otherwise, consider this a bug that the firestones are not working for the Vine Tongue achievement.

✭✭✭✭✭Really silly question here, but you do have the firestone memento quickslotted when you face the plants, right? You activate that memento, not a synergy, to get to the vine tongues for that achievement. At least as far as I recall.2 -

This is true, i did the achievement yesterday from scratch using the mementoXBOX EU/PC EU2 -
Harrdarrzarr✭✭✭no synergie buttons, just face the plant with the memento quickslotted and press whichever key you have assigned for memento's.0 -

Pyr0xyrecuprotite✭✭✭✭✭You use a synergy-type activation when doing the original firestone quest (part of the quest to assist the DeadWater tribe), but for the friendly vine-tongue achievement, you need to quickslot the memento and use it that way. On PC, the Map Pins addon will assist in showing you the locations - there are special books to read at each location.0
