[IDEA] PVP GUILD SYSTEM AND LEADERBOARD FOR PVP GUILD

I know that many type of guild in ESO : Trade guild, PvP Guild, PvE Guild .....etc
Each guild have their own purpose and activity to do ( Trail , Dungeon leaderboard for PVE guild, trade market for Trade guild...etc)
However I think ESO still lack of common purpose for PvP guild and PvP player
I notice that we've had Leaderboard for Battle Ground and Cyrodil, but all of those thing are personal trophil
I wish that ESO can have a system to make a special guild is PVP guild

If you wanna join PvP guild, you must at the same faction with guild leader
Then your guild can conquer castle, kill enemy in Cyrodil or Imperial City to uprade your guild level
When your guild level is high enoght, it will unlock some special item from guild trader ( it might be PvP gear or cosmetic , funiture ) and finally you can purchase a guild castle which is very expensive and require highest guild level ( this system can apply for PVE guild also)
Your PVP guild can raise war or make alliance with any other PvP guild, if your guild leader do that, guild member can kill enemy player whenever they want, wherever they want, but it will set bounty on thier head similar to commit crime

It's my opinion, I really want to hear other opinion from other player

As far as I know recent PvP guild can not call it PvP guild at all, they can invite player from any faction, and that lead to spy problem in cyrodiil, and reduce dedicated spirit from player

I'm not opposed to this, though it does look like the mechanism for leveling up as a guild by killing players is going to reward farming PUGs over fighting guild v guild.

I dislike that warring with another guild interferes with PVE. I'll happily fight players in Cyrodiil, but that doesn't mean I feel like scrapping with them while I'm trying to do my crafting writs or running event dailies if we run into each other. Heck, I'm in trading guilds with people I know are in rival PVP guilds.

Keep the PVP guild rivalries in PVP zones, please.

They can not raise war with PvE player, bcoz they only can do that with other PvP guild. PVE player can avoid conflct by not join any PvP guild

guild finder you can list your guild as PvP only and also list your requirements for joining eg: faction, cp level and or experience.

Have you considered that many players do BOTH game modes of PVE and PVP?

No offense, but your "solution" of "Well, just don't join a PVP guild" does nothing to address my concern about dragging PVP rivalries into PVE zones.

I play regularly in a faction-loyal PVP guild in Cyrodiil - exactly who you are trying to appeal to with this idea.
I also PVE regularly, doing writs, dailies, group content, events, and quests.

I prefer not to get ganked in the middle of doing my crafting writs. Especially when Guild membership is account wide, but not all my characters are set up for sudden PVP in the middle of PVE activities. Nor should they have to be just because my PVP guild is enjoying a rivalry with another Cyrodiil guild.

Keep the PVP rivalries in PVP zones, and I think this sounds like fun. Make it a method for griefing enemy guild members in PVE zones on alt characters and that sounds decidedly less fun and rather counter to your efforts to get guilds to actually fight each other.

They need to do some things to revitalize interest in PvP......technically they should fix the lag first, but they need to spice things up a bit too.

I am also in a faction locked pvp guild and regularly participates in Cyrodiil.

I am dead set against pvp in pve zones.
For all the reasons @VaranisArano mentions
    Just no.

I do think there should be some seperate maps/arenas for guild vs guild fights with leaderboards. 8vs8, 10vs10, and/or 12vs12.

Guilds can arrange the time, que up and get pulled into the chosen map.

Can be time based, 20 minute or so battle or first to whatever score.

I’m not against it really, but pvp is an end in itself because it’s fun. Giving incentives to people to do it just attracts people who don’t want to be there.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

I think your idea can work, @lelink88 ... but it needs a lot more details.

With the way you have it set up now, the PvP guilds that have the most contact time in Cyrodiil would be at the top.

    Which is good and bad.

A lot of time in Cyrodiil fighting for your Alliance should be rewarded, sure.

But if all of that time is spent taking keeps and not fighting the other Alliances, it doesn't necessarily reward good guild strategy and raid setup.

Just something to think about ...

Hard no on PvP everywhere. It wouldn't make sense to force my DC PvE character into PvP because my EP PvP char is fighting in Cyro.

But in general, have a guild achievment system similar to those in WoW and SWTOR, where guilds can do activities together and unlock achievments and rewards. For example, kill x amount of players in a guild group containing at least x amount of players, or capture x amount of keeps. Same for PvE, complete x trial or dungeon with a guild group. For crafting, have guild members complete x amount of writs. Catch x amounts of fishes.

Then add real guild strongholds that members can contribute to and that are tied to the guild and not the GM. The guild system can be improved a lot in ESO, it's a solid start and I like having 5 guilds that are account wide (the one thing I disliked about guilds in WoW and SWTOR), but there's a lot you can do for guilds in this game.

Cyrodiil has enough troubles as it is, without increased reasons to “play like I want - but to hell with everyone else”

The guilds are fine for those who has the time and wants to engage in the commitment. But eso isn’t a guild game and they are causing enough of that as it is

I'd be happy about any type of PvP content but realistically speaking that won't happen. It's pretty clear that PvP has been on life support for several years because there's not enough people playing it.

Sounds good. AP Boosting people might all be in the same guilds and in cahoots. We can permaban them all in one fell swoop. Just look for the guilds with the highest rate of mind-bogglingly fast AP score accumulation and start the investigations there.
Start recording their guild chats too -- loose lips sink ships.

I had a side bar discussion with ither PVP players and the idea was tossed around the first group of 2+ partied together that claimed a keep for their faction would receive the offense AP tick; the solo players would get a reduced AP offense tick for their support; all Guild same-faction groups claiming a keep would get a leader board scoring for the fsction but other opposing faction claims would proportionately lower the Guild leader board rating for the faction; and until the claimed status remains unclaimed, the keep would be flagged underseiged. Or another mechanic that leads to inner faction group competition for the large AP offense tick. Something like this to move towards guild focused campaign; but with enough avenues for solo players to gain AP and sufficient mechanics where fscrion hoping doesn't benefit their guild campaign rating.
