Which platform is most comfortable to play with?

Khaadrun
So, I'm thinking of playing again and I wanna know which platform do you think is most comfortable to use.
Note: I'm not looking for the "best" platform, this is related to ease of use in the controlls, etc.
Note 2: pardon my english :#

I said PS4 because it is a simple wireless controller and you can sit in a recliner and play. With a bowl of food next to you.

I play on PC. I also have the game on PS4. I don't prefer comfort, I guess.

    PC is just better.

Played on Xbox. Performance was trash. Sorry, but it is.

Took a break altogether for a year and a half.

Decided to buy on PC with some Steam Wallet funds I was given for Christmas in 2018, though the purchase was last year January.

Game runs so much better. Did play with an Xbox controller at first but now running a Razer Naga and haven't used my Xbox controller for at least eight months.

    Addons are great.

The fact I can run multiple monitors is very handy for Trials with the mute guys writing their thoughts on the no-mic channel.

Also the game is just so much prettier. When I find a special scene I crank the graphics up to max quickly for a cheeky screen-grab.

Can’t really answer without knowing your personal setup. i.e. You can play on a PC with mouse and keyboard curled up in bed, but if your PC is stuck in an office and you have no means of remote play, you can’t. You can play on a PC whilst sat on the couch, just like you can a console, but unless you have a quiet PC, then you might not want it in your living room. Etc. Etc.

In general terms, there is nothing comfort wise on a console that can’t be replicated on a PC. And as mentioned above PC gives you access to addons that make your quality of life in game so much better. However, it all comes down to what your personal situation is, with regards to your living arrangement and computer equipment, and how much you are willing to spend, should your setup need altering.

Wireless controllers are easily used on pc too

Ergonomics will always boil down to user preference, and that means most will vote PC cause "PC IZ BETTAH". But to me a Controller is far more comfortable than a Keyboard when there's multiple controls outside of WASD and Ctrl/Space.

PC has all the best options, for sure, and there’s also the PTS and add-ons available.

If you have physical ailments, then a console might be something that could work better for you, but realize you will have a scaled down experience compared to PC.

I play on Xbox, as I have been gaming on that system since it’s release in 2001, and I can recline on the couch while I play. If I could stand to sit in a chair at a desk, I would probably play on PC, but I have a bad back so that ain’t happening. Ultimately, it’s down to individual circumstances and preference.

PC gives players the most options. Controller, keyboard and mouse, keyboard and 12 button mouse, and special keypads like the Razer Orbweaver.

Having significantly more options for how to play is clearly better by a long shot.

BTW, the 4th answer (PC w/xbox controller) is the same as the third answer (PC). It just lists one of the many choices we have on PC.

You lose soooo many QoL improvements and mods when you go to console. I honestly can't imagine playing without addons these days. They fix so many intolerable aspects of the game.

I'm guessing you mean most comfortable as in performance? If not then each platform can be equally comfortable. But anyway I started on XB1 but currently play on PC with a xbox controller, and it's just as comfortable to play however the performance is better on PC so my vote goes there.

I voted for xbox. I started on Xbox and it is the most comfortable by far. I can sit in my recliner with surround sound and play on a 65" TV. However, I still switched to my PC because of add-ons, better graphics, and 60fps. It is much less comfortable sitting in my computer chair though.

Why not hook your PC up to TV with HDMI and still get to be comfortable even on PC ?

PC has addons that are TOO useful to play this game without

I seriously do not know if I could put up with playing this game without them. Especially with maps that have mountain walls that completely separate the entire map. How does anyone on console have any clue what direction they need to go?

What do you define to be comfortable? Is it to play on the couch on a TV? That's usually easier on consoles. Or is it to play with addons that help you with the game? That's exclusive to PC. Or is it super easy to access in-game voice chat? That's only possible on consoles again. It all depends.

PC is better for a multitude of reasons.
    1) Performance is better on a PC. Consoles are not built to handle resource heavy games like ESO. They arent easy to upgrade and what upgrades you can do are extremely limited. The game constantly evolves and requires new and better hardware to perform the same. Though Xbox seems to handle the game better than PS.
    2) Graphics can be adjusted on PC to improve performance. Not so much on console.
    3) Add Ons. For all those features that should have been in game...but werent.
    4) PC allows for a multitude of input device options. You can use controllers, mouse and keyboard, gamepads, hell you can probably play with a joystick and steering wheel.
    5)PC typically gets updates first

Talking about ESO I prefer the pc version. I have played the PS4 version years ago now but it can't stand up to the customisation and ease of access pc let's you have.
Also the pc supports using a controller anyway so you can have all the benefits of more power (FPS, graphics etc), customisation (hotkeys), add-ons etc and still use a controller if you feel more comfortable with it.

For me personally, the most comfortable would be on PC with Xbox controller. I play on my TV from about ten ft away in my big "daddy" chair and in first person view.

    1) Unlike computer, I don’t ever have to worry about “will this game run on my system?” The answer is always yes.

    2) Unlike computer, I’m not a member of a user base that likes invoking supremacist sayings to justify it’s arrogant superiority complex (seriously, that’s disgusting and not at all funny)

    3) Unlike computer, it’s significantly more budget friendly in terms of hardware

    4) Unlike computer, I get built-in voice chat for socializing with people

    5) Unlike computer, I don’t have to deal with people who routinely cheat and gain advantage over other players (yes, I consider many add-ons cheating)

    6) Unlike computer, I get a crap ton of free games on it beyond just ESO including the fantastic Outer Worlds, the wonderful Wasteland 2, and many, many more.

I'm not a fan of relying on addons, in general.

However, playing this particular game entirely without them must be hard (especially for things like selling), so PC has to be the answer here, I would have thought?

Haven't tried the xbox controller on PC, though, so I don't know which of the last two options is more comfortable.

My guess would be the latter.
