Game delay since console update

Xbox EU server, Friday 2200hrs GMT
Using Xbox one X

I have been working away through the week and just installed the latest update... the game has gained some serious skill delay in even small scale pvp fights.

I was involved in a 3vs8 to 12 fight in Bruma and every skill was taking 5-10 hits before it would activate.

Also

A 2 vs 6 fight at alswell farm... skills would not go off at all.

It feels like peak time Midyear Mayhem Chatman keep fight sort of performance in the size of fight that would never cause such problems. Feels the worst performance wise I have ever felt.

Anyone else feeling this?

Yes, it was unplayable during peak time for me. I would press the buttons for a combo then wait a few seconds and it would sometimes fire off.

Yep, it's been horrible on NA as well. Skills won't fire, can't barswap, and lag is horrendous. This happens when there aren't even any zergs around.

Imagine playing this game for PVP with a 200ping as a baseline standard and THEN dealing with THIS on top.

Because ESO on Console is the 'best' MMO on Xbox IMHO and whilst there's a lot of really 'wtf you thinking ZOS?' moments on Console, it's still the 'best' MMO on the platform atm.

I tend to avoid PvP on my platform though, but it's only a small part of the overall game experience so whatever.

But it's fairly common for a US based MMO to assume no one else plays their games outside the US and they do the absolute bear minimum (or nothing at all) for external support.

It's one of the leading reasons why I now refuse to buy their DLCs or sub to ESO +

I can still play the game and enjoy it for what it is, but I'll be damned if I bother giving them any more of my $$ than the bear minimum required to continue playing.

Holy [snip] the lag in Kaal tonight is the worst I've seen in a long time. I'm stuck playing one bar bc I can't bar swap and only half of those skills are functioning. What did you do this time ZO$?!?

It's not only Cyrodiil. I was just waling on my target dummy to relieve stress (I am very cruel >:3 ) and there was this moment where Curse, Fury and Elemental Weapon should have gone off - yet they didn't. Kinda weird to explain, but my character would just stand there and the skills would fire a second later. Very odd.

Having problems with the following since the update (Xbox NA):

Bar swap cancelling and skills not activating. Furthermore, my first light attack after bar swapping is often not firing.

Light attack weaving being unreliable (Elemental Weapon exposes this issue easily).

Hit-boxes feel off. My cursor needs to be more precise to set up attacks.

Theres a delay in any pvp i do. Need an emergency maintenance.

Pvp is not playable right now. Skills will not go off. Lag is insane.

Which campaign? Kaal was unplayable for me so I jumped into a low pop campaign and it was still delayed but not as bad. I cant understand how people stay in Kaal specially during prime time.

It’s terrible. As a magblade I have to constantly have shadow image down for buff/debuff and kiting. I am having to hit it 3-4 times, sometimes it’ll register, sometimes not, sometimes it’ll work and I’ll double hit it wasting an already insanely increased mag cost because you nerfed an unnecessary ability. Please fix this game. It’s awful in console right now.

As you can see this is happening even in non-PvP areas but ofc it feels worse in the heat of combat.

No comment from anyone for 10 days on this issue ?
This game is unplayable at the moment , you release worse and worse patches while we give you money . Then not say anything when people tell you it’s broken. How about you let people know what you are doing to fix this s*** show. ?

This is really killing the fun out of PvP.

I've gotten used to having to double cast skills at this point but the delayed weaving really hurts my ability to do damage.

I'm seriously considering just going AoE and spamming Lightning Staff heavies until this gets sorted out lol. It's horrendous.

Turned it off 750pm tonight it's hot unplayable garbage. Skills refuse to fire I cant believe there's no communication from zos wtf
