After getting my feet wet over the Mayhem event I would like to do a bit more Cyrodiil going forward but not sure which toon to concentrate on ?
I was running around with my StamDK which was fun but reflexes arent the best neither is my ping time so found it hard to be in constant melee range and I would prefer
to keep him for PVE . So I have a Stam Warden , Mag Necro or a Magplar wondering which I should concentrate on . I need to be fairly tanky as I am just not as quick as I would
like to be getting out of sticky situations and yet still have a chance 1v1 ... I am a bit over getting killed .
Also what gear suggestions to go along with it ? I have been thru all the usual channels on builds .

Well all 3 are generally melee. Jabs is pretty frustrating if you have a high ping, so even though magplar is quite strong I don't suggest it for you. Stamden has very good survivability and is a little more forgiving in lag.

Thanks I was thinking Stamden first and see how that plays . I have NMA + Spriggan on the DK which I can just swap over unless there is a better option.

NMA + Spriggans will work nicely, particularly with Dawnbreaker. If you want to use Onslaught, Shield Breaker, Clever Alchemist and Fury are also solid stam sets.

Yea, S&B Magplars sort of suck. It’s more effective to play with a resto staff back bar and rely on high healing which requires quick reflexes.

Stamden’s probably the best choice. I’ve seen some really effective ones who block cast shalks, minor vulnerability, etc... setting people up before going for their burst. It’s a playstyle that’s more slow paced.

Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

Update on where I am at .
Gave the Stamden a good try but I just cant seem to gel with it, feel like i am constantly buffing myself and just feel generally
weak I am sure its a l2p issue but I thought I would give my Magtemp ago . Big difference , got more kills in an hr than 2 days on my magden and feeling such more balanced all round with no sustain issues.
What I would like to do tho is move up damage as I feel I am lacking a bit in burst. Currently just in Shackle + BTB but my stats are pretty good but would like more dps so any more suggestions would be welcome .

Buffing yourself feels a lot better than debuffing players that will just purge everything you apply to them. At least you get to keep what you cast and Shalks is more of a delayed damage ability then a self buff.

I feel the same way sometimes though, at this point I'm using Crit Surge, Hurricane, Quick Cloak, Bound Armaments and Echoing Vigor on CD, I keep up 5 bufs at all times, 6 if you count Dark Dealing constantly.
