Why finding bast so hard?

Hi,

I need bast for a quest and I only found 2 in 1h looking all plants around me. I tried to search in all guild merchants and didn’t find any.

Any tips about finding this material?

Find a route that lets you farm plenty of clothing nodes.

That can take some finessing. For example, if you farm Bal Foyen a good portion of the zone's clothing nodes are located inside the Fort.

Just to be clear, some plants are for alchemy and some are for clothing. Only the clothing ones will have bast.

My apologies if you are aware of this and I misunderstood.
