Coldharbour Tutorial

Hi everyone

I'm thinking or rebuying the game without ESO Plus just so I can start the story properly from Soul Shriven in Coldharbour.
Is it true that if I do this, however, I'll miss a skill point? I've heard that all the chapter tutorials give you an extra skill point, so starting the game in the 'correct order' (Coldharbour first) means you lose a skill point you'll never be able to get?

Thanks!

I don't recall receiving an "extra" skill point when I created chars in Morrowind/Summerset/Elsweyr...

The "Soul Shriven in Coldharbour" is now triggered by a quest and not triggered automatically so you could as well start in any zone that gives you a free skill point.

Theoretically, yes. You would miss the skill point if you did the Coldharbour tutorial. But it may not be possible to do this anymore, as Morrowind is now included with all base game copies. The tutorial should default there unless you can somehow find an older copy.

Ah so if I bought Standard edition (https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-gb/joinus) I'd be playing the Morrowind chapter tutorial, not the Soul Shriven in Coldharbour quest?

As far as I understand it, yes. The Morrowind Chapter (including Vvardenfell and the Warden class) has been included in all new base game copies from about May/June 2018, the one-year anniversary of the chapter, when Vvardenfell became a part of ESO+.
