Besides that, could be very useful for vMA runs with a magplar, problem is I'm not terribly compelled to run 5 year old content. Maybe if they ever decide to stop sitting on their hands in regards to higher difficulty overland settings...

My favorite char (and the only one i play currently) is my ice warden. I won't buy their DLC to farm a set i can't even use just because they plan to destroy my current set.

How does this shield work with annulment/morphs ? does it stack? Even there, why would anyone use this over ... pretty much any light armor/mag helm (ilambris/valkyn/zaan)? is the possibility of constant small shield that much better than the added damage?

Honest question, this one mostly plays stamdps and tanks.

Totally useless set. Iceheart is way better, that's why they had to obliterate it to lure you into buying the DLC. But the new monster set will still s@ck.

I thought this game was suppose to be for entertainment value and fun. The fun is gone and the entertainment value is below questionable at the moment. When will the devs stop thinking about their wallet and start thinking about what players want. Here is a clue.. dealing damage is like slinging a wet noodle. Doesn't exist for casual joe player. Shields are gone. Doesn't last long and cost too much to run. Always trying to adjust builds that no longer function the way you had it. Good luck in recruiting new players once they start running into the NERFBAT.

So are the people who do support you like the way it has turned out? The leet players will always find a way to survive, but average joe / casual player? The money from me has stopped. The devs nerfed the game into the ground. The cash that I have is now going toward other entertaining games that DO HAVE THE FUN FACTOR STILL IN THEM. Always remember people have stress they need to blow off. Who wants to work at it after a bad day? One job is enough.

They buffed it and its still crap.. They should really just scrap it and make it buff channeled attack damage instead (by enough to actually be a good set).

All I can say is that they nerfed an OP set to promote there new set from the DLC dungeon.

Now don't get me wrong. I've saw a few no death runs with Ice heart, shuffle and cleave but still..... This set was fine for years, then the Ciannait set has similar bonuses to Iceheart so NERF it to promote the new one.... Seems legit, do it.

This set could replace the IceHeart for any class that has ability that takes 1 second to cast. For instance, Templars using Blazing Spear could benefit from this head piece.

I play healer and never pursued the IceHeart and don't plan to go after the Mother Ciannait.

The problem is not many builds have skills that would proc this. Templars and sorcerors, yes, but basically any other class doesn't. As a magden, my only channeled/cast time skills are channeled acceleration and the bear ulti, but channeled acceleration is only used every 36 seconds and the bear ulti is permanently up

guys you can't play this game without one specific set? recalculate ur builds i suppose. There are too many trash sets anyway, two more won't hurt. If you want defense you can use many other defensive sets like Bloodspawn, Earthgore, Lord Warden.

I'm an ESO+ member, so I don't need to buy it anyways. Dropping ESO+ in protest of the Iceheart nerfs isn't an option either, because I'm too used to the crafting bag and the double bank/transmute space.

Instead I'm not going to pre order Graymoore (as I would've done otherwise) and wait until it's on sale. Also I won't buy additional crowns anymore (used to buy one 5,5k crown pack on every crown sale, just to have some in stock if something interesting appears in the shop).

I'm not willing to pay more than absolutely necessary anymore.

If the one piece gave something other then max mag and the shield break gave both resources back, I could see this being useful for no death runs on my stamplar. 1pc spell & wep crit 2 pc 5k shield every 6 seconds plus 600 mag / stam on shield break.
