Warden Zerg Healer - Tips ?

Hello,

I've clean almost all I can in PvE and have start doing some Cyro.
I'm not a big fan of small call and play mostly in zerg or big group (remember me the good old L2 days <3)

I've fun healing in cyro with my Warden, I've already made a tanky healer for BG but even if I'm almost unkillable, I don't find this type of PvP fun.

For now in Cyro I run some PvE gear I add in stock and have tried different of them it seem than Olorimë + Gossamer + Bogdan/Chockthorn + Perfect black rose heal staff ; work pretty well.
Ofc I'm squishy but I'm used to in other game so it's ok, I'm not rushing in like an idiot and stay alive easily until all my team die.

That said I don't really know gear/cp and which stat I should aim to help the most my team.
Right now I'm around 27k magika - 27k health - 17k stam - ~4k mag regen
Yeah regen is alot compared to what I use usualy in PvE, but be able to spam Purge and Burst AoE heal + HoT is just crazy

So, ya, not asking especially for a full build, I like to do them myself, but more about tips and popular gear / skill used for this type of content with my class/role.

Thx for any help !

Have a nice day.

Edit :
Almost forget the PvP Tradition, sorry : "Nerf Sorc !"

Gossamer is a great set for a MagWarden. I don’t know about Olorime, but if you like it go for it.

    Here are some tips:

Gossamer major evasion can be harder to spread then you’d think. The buff only lasts 2 seconds. I’ve found one of the most reliable ways is overflowing alter, whenever someone attacks anything the minor life steal will give them evasion

If you’re coming from pve and are good with light attack weaving Symbiosis is good. Just mindlessly light attack weave on either bar while healing normally and the healing amount is okayish. The main benefit of symbiosis is the ability that heals someone when you light attack and gives major prophesy (I forgot the name) will proc off symbiosis. Using netch and the skill thing will allow you to use any pot you want.

Always use the ritual mundus and 3x infused mag regen jewellery glyphs.

Cleanse is one of the best heals in the game, but it’s crazy expensive. See a colossus? Cleanse x2. Running into a keep through oils? Cleanse x2 or 3 or 4.

Since symbiosis makes your light attacks ranged and you don’t need resto heavies for major mending I usually go DW healing bar (MH Nirn, OH Powered) Resto back bar... or traditionally have. I can’t seem to get gossamer 1Hs to drop.

Spamming netch is a good ghetto small heal and cleanse. Good for some situations. Spamming it cuts off the magic regen portion of the ability, but its good if say you’re standing on a ram.

I have the most experience on a magblade and magtemplar, still figuring out some stuff for MagWarden.

Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

As warden you have some great class skills for healing and supporting allies, Green Balance line has awesome heals like ulti and 3 first skills. Sleet storm is good ultimate for pushes, and warden has best shield which makes you unkillable at distance plus ultigen.
Troll king and Bogdan are best healer monster sets, for body you can use Transmutation and/or max mag/sustain sets (Alfiq, Seducer, BTB, Necropotence for example), because you need to provide non stop healing in large battles.

Tips for being a zerg healer and saying small scale healing is not fun.....

    Well ok then lol.

Zerg healing is hardly even playing a healer.

it's a matter of taste dude, if you never have played old mmorpg I bet you can't understand / appreciate the feeling to play healer like this.

Healing small scale in eso have nothing hard, I've already do it, just build tanky + 1 support set and you can basically heal indefinitely and not dying. Such fun such risk, lul.

    See ? That my point.

Play what you enjoy, like I do, don't feel the need to said your choice is better, no one care, everyone enjoy the game the way they want ;)

Oh by all means. I've been healing in mmos for many moons I know full well what it entails, I'm simply stating there is little involved when playing a zerg healer to the point where you dont actually have to execute a developed skill to influence your performance. Its incredibly shallow. Small scale healing in cp against opponents who are not idiots does not work the way you are suggesting unless your group processes no form of kill potential and you are just memeing your way through an encounter until a larger group can show up.

There is far more burden of performance in small fights where you are focused by builds that can actual deal damage and are coordinated.

Want a zerg healer tip? Drop olorime for transmutation and throw orbs and any aoe healing into your group and be satisfied.
