Theres quite a few crafted sets that are almost useless. Since the game has progressed a lot of newer sets have been added, continuously getting more powerful for the most part.
Ashen Grip set- (5 items) When you deal direct melee damage, you have a 10% chance to breathe fire to all enemies in front of you for 1544 Flame Damage. This effect can occur once every 4 seconds.
1544 flame damage? That number should be increased to 3500 at least.
Nights Silence set- (5 items) Ignore Movement Speed penalty of Sneak.
This needs more. I would also add 125 weapon damage to it.
Vastarie’s Tutelage set- (5 items) When you resurrect an ally, you and your ally gain 258 Weapon and Spell Damage and 10% cost reduction to all abilities for 10 seconds.
I cant imagine anyone wearing this set. I could possible see people using it in pvp, IF something gets added to it. IMO opinion since its so niche.....add.....you and your ally also get major expedition and take 15% less damage.
Kvatch Gladiator set- (5 items) When your target is under 25% Health, add 1800 Weapon Damage to your Light and Heavy Attacks.
I dont know the dps this set adds but one change I would make is make it able to be used by magicka users as well. Each set bonus should also give spell crit and spell damage. And the 5 piece should also add 1800 spell damage to light and heavy attacks.
Song of Lamae set- (5 items) When you take damage while under 30% Health, you deal 3870 Magic Damage to the attacker and heal for 3870 Health. This can effect can occur once every 30 seconds.
This is very weak compared to other sets that heal or cast a damage shield when you hit 30 percent. If the cooldown stays at 30 seconds I would increase it to 7k damage to the attacker and all enemies within 5m, also healing you for 7k health.
The alternative, you could reduce the cooldown to 10-12 seconds. But again id change it so it does this damage to the attacker AND all enemies within 5m.
Tavas Favor set- (5 Items) When you dodge an attack, you receive the blessing of Tava, generating 9 Ultimate over 3 seconds.
This needs to be fixed. When they changed how major evasion works this set took a huge hit and was never adjusted or fixed.
Vampire's Kiss set- (5 items) When you kill an enemy, you heal for 5160 Health over 6 seconds.
For this I have 2 different ideas. They could just also add 200 weapon and spell damage to the 5 piece.
The alternative idea would be to change the 5 piece to, "when you damage an enemy you also deal 5000 damage and heal for 5k health over 6 seconds. It would have to have a cooldown.....10-12 seconds?
Varens Legacy set- (5 items) When you block an attack, you have a 10% chance to cause your next direct damage area of effect attack to deal an additional 3450 Damage.
This set seems useless, very little damage with a low proc chance. Just rework the set entirely.
Shalidors Curse set- (5 items) While you are under 50% Health, dealing damage with a Light Attack heals you for 559 Health.
Thats kind of pathetic if you ask me. I would change it so its "While you are under 75 percent health, dealing damage with a light attack heals you for 1000 health."
Twice-born star set- (5 items) You can have two Mundus Stone boons at the same time. In addition each boons strength is increased by 5-10 percent for every piece of armor your wearing with the Impenetrable trait. This would let this set be used in pvp.
Morkuldin set- (5 items) When you deal damage with a Light or Heavy attack, you have a 10% chance to summon an animated weapon to attack your enemies for 15 seconds. The animated weapon's basic attack deals 4551 Physical Damage.
I thought this set was pretty cool. The one thing i wish is it was also usable by magicka users as well. Each bonus could also add the corresponding magicka version. And depending if your stam or magicka, whichever is higher, the 5 piece damage would be physical or magic based.
Nocturnals Favor set-(5 items) Whenever you successfully Dodge, heal yourself for 4000. This effect can occur every 2 seconds.
Like Tavas Favor this set became next to useless when major evasion was changed. Needs a rework.
Pelinals Aptitude set- (5 items) Your Weapon Damage and Spell Damage both become the highest of the two values.
This set needs a buff, The 5 piece should also add 2000-3000 magicka and stamina. Not sure on the exact number.

I love being able to craft sets and try various builds as Im sure many do. These fixes IMO should be easy to implement, these sets have been stagnant for far too long and there is no reason this cant be addressed.
