Maybe you’re not aware, but there is a PvP Event with double AP going on ...
Too lazy to PvP even if it’s twice as easy this weekend??
That’s OK too ...
The Golden will be back next week with regular wares to buy in gold.

If you’re on PS4 eu, dm me I’ll buy it for you (and give it for free)
I'd love to do a bit of PvP in ESO except for the fact that going into Cyrodiil drops me from 30FPS to 5FPS and my latency goes from 40ms to 300+ms. It's unplayable for me, I die before I even get to do anything at all if I get out into the open.
As such, no PvP for me.
BackStabeth wrote: »This is exactly this type of thing that will cause me to quit ESO. I have no desire to engage in any PvP activity at all. If I feel I a missing out on too much game content or what the game has to offer because it also involves PvP I will stop playing.
I get it, the developers want to create situations where people are engaging in PvP because those who only play or play only mostly PvP need a constant influx of people to farm so they advance. But I'm nobodies farm. I also do not like the feeling I am being manipulated to engage in game activity that holds no enjoyment or interest for me.
People do not like to be manipulated or forced to do any activity that doesn't interest them, specially in their free time, specially not if they are paying ZoS a subscription fee.
So long as the game is fun and engaging for me, and doesn't require I involve myself in activity that I do not find fun, entertaining and engaging I will stick around. But as soon as there is content locked behind activity I do not want to engage in, that affects my progression or ability to engage in other game activity I am gone, out of here, I will light out like a candle, make like a tree and leaf. No amount of manipulation, of pushing, of attempting to convince me, of creating PvP only events and prizes will cause me to submit to another person's will. It's not ever, never going to happen.
And for those who do not want to engage in specific game activity, regardless if it's a requirement to involve yourself in PVE, or PvP or crafting or whatever, don't do it. Don't do anything you do not enjoy. When those who make decisions and look at the data realize that fewer people are interested in one thing or another, then they will have a far better understanding of what direction to take the game. When you involve yourself in activity you do not like, and you add to positive statistics in something you do not enjoy or like, you give a false impression on which way the developers should take the game.

I know I'm not supposed to feed the trolls but... Lol. No one is forcing or manipulating you to run anything. What, does someone saying 'PVP exists' make you vibrate in fear as you feel obligated to play it?
Don't do drugs, kids. This kind of tinfoil hat conspiracy theory talk is exactly what comes out if it. Stay safe, stay sane.

I don't think you read or perhaps I didn't explain myself well enough.
I am not interested in PvP, if you believe that is because a person fears something please tell me what you can possibly be afraid of in PvP? You don't loose anything, no stats, no inventory except one stones?
When certain things are only made available only if you PvP that is an attempt to get you to PvP. That really just amounts to manipulation. If I can continue to advance without involving myself in PvP, because after 20+ years of almost exclusively engaging in PvP it no longer holds any interest for me, then I will continue to play. If I cannot find a way to have access to items that are useful to me, or help me advance in the game and the only way I can obtain them is by engaging in PvP I will quit.
I don't understand why so many people involved in PvP thing those who do not wish to be, think they are afraid. It's as if they think that type of reverse psychology is going to cause them to think how they do about something they want nothing to do with.
PvP in this game is not what I personally would say is hard core PvP, it's like PvP lite. In my opinion, hard core PvP, the type that makes you sweat, means you are risking something of value, like skill points or everything you have on your person in inventory including weapons and armor, etc. If that were the case here, then maybe there would be something to be afraid of, specially if it took you a long length of time to build up those skill points or the items in your inventory were expensive. But you lose nothing of note or value being killed by another player in this game. Nothing to be afraid of.
I hope I helped you understand my point of view, if not you are welcome to message me privately and I will attempt to explain my point to you again. All sarcasm aside.
Suggesting a person has brain damage from taking drugs, that was just a childish insult and wasn't even funny. If you want to insult someone at least make it entertaining, say something clever or witty. I would like to laugh at what you said, even at my own expense except, well, sorry but it wasn't funny at all, just kinda meh and boring.

If you can't live in a world where people get to enjoy gameplay you don't like and gain cool stuff from it because you think that privilege should only be reserved for your favored gameplay activity, just shut off your electricity, lock the doors and throw away the key. It's ridiculous.
Now stop spamming the poor Golden Vendor post with your lunatic rambling. It's always scary to see how far in life a person can make it while remaining so far removed from reality.

I hope people who PvP really enjoy it, and I hope people who don't still enjoy the other types of play in this game. I didn't say anything about people enjoying PvP, hell I used to love doing strictly that for over 20 years.
I am talking about content, I don't for example think it's fair that people only interested in PvP are required to PVE to obtain gear to be relevant in any way in PvP. If I were all about only PvP I would feel the same exact what as I have expressed here. PvP should have it's own content and rewards that do not involve PVE and vice versa.
What I am saying is that if a person is not interested in certain content, they should avoid it so that they enjoy the game. And also, that if it ever comes to a point where I cannot obtain certain items that are useful to me to advance in the game without playing content I do not find fun, engaging or enjoyable I will stop playing. It's really very simple. But by no means, in no way, am I down on people who PvP or saying they shouldn't, or vice versa.
Some people are just skimming over posts looking for people to insult. They make themselves obvious in what they say and how they attempt to insult and demean others. I would really appreciate it if you are going to respond, to make it honest and constructive instead of trying to make it demeaning, insulting and destructive. And honestly, really, you have to realize your insults are childish, I mean excessively so. You should stop while you just look like a baiting troll.
