Dawn of the Dragonguard quest turn in

Had this quest on a new character, and just finished it today, a month after the quest end date. Like the other holiday events, when the enddate comes and goes, one must wait another year in order to turn in the items requested. I'm wondering if I will be able to turn these items in for the reward at some point?
