How to productively go about addressing this ability.

    Other. Reduce range to 7 meters like fossilize. There shouldn't be non-projectile ranged stuns. To stun you should either go melee or your stun could be purposefully dodged.

    I'm still amazed how much hate this ability got when it had remained in this state for literal years. To be honest if its causing such a big issue they should at least make it no longer interruptable with its current state on the PTS. Reason I don't think nerffing its damage is a good idea is due to how when its active it is the ONLY thing you are doing unlike other stuns where its one and done, guy/girl is stunned. Still remember when people used to complain about Fossilize due to the fact it stunned and then immobilized you afterwards. Fossilize still does that.

    The problem with your other two options is that they require ZOS to fix the CC which they are incapable of doing.

    Same thing as Snipe, really. I've tried arguing that nerfing a skill because just because it is buggy (like causing desyncs or having an unbreakable CC) is a bad idea. It was nerfed anyway.

    So at this point... whatever. Gotta nerf them all!

    I see your reasoning, but there are better ways to go about it to fix the cc and making it dodge able. think flame clench + malubeth tether. attack stuns (is dodge able) attack creates link that dmgs target and heals caster (tether can be broken by moving away a meter out of its range.) could even make the ability cast able up to 12 meters but only get the tether if you are within 8 meters. many many ways to go about it.

    Which is why I used stone giant...... back when it was a magicka ability. :(

    The problem is the stun is bugged so classes with burst like warden and necro can abuse it.
