DW Maces Passive

Hi,
with two maces you penetrate your enemies armor by 20%.
Lets assume I have 5k pen and an enemy has 20k armor.

Does this result in
(20k - 5k) * 0.8 = 12k armor
or
20k * 0.8 - 5k = 11k armor
for the enemy?

So in other words: Is your own penetration calculated first or the maces passive?

Bonus for maces is calculated after all the other sources of penetration. So it's the former.

Mace penetration is determined after debuffs (e.g. Fracture/Breach, Alkosh, etc.) but before straight penetration additions (e.g. LA passive, CP, etc.).

So in this case, if the 5k is from flat penetration bonuses like your CP, then it is the second. If it comes from debuffs like Fracture, it is the first.

this. i've tested as well and reason my 2H maul is a must for PvP....
