What kind of potions do ppl use in below 50 BGs?

Is the only option in under 50 BGs to use tristat and other potions from the crownshop, or can i craft my own tristat potions for my lvl 30 char? I have never gotten into alchemy so some advice would be appriciated.

You can absolutely make your own low level potions and poisons. They will use a different base (different types of water for potions, different types of...yellow stuff for poisons). Other than that the ingredients will be the same, it's just the base that changes the level.
I do still stick to crown tri-stat mostly, but yeah. You can run with whatever you want. You just need to keep an eye on your level and the levels on your gear -- crown store items adjust to your level, but crafted ones lose efficiency as you rise up.1 -

✭Use the tripots as others have said or purchase cyro trash pots with AP if you don’t have any.
I would save the good materials for your leveled characters....0
