Addons stopped working, can't figure out why.

I've been using AddOns for a long time, but they stopped working a while back after an update. It was before that "libraries" thing showed up within the AddonsTab in-game.. I tried to get them back, but they're not working anymore. I've put them into the "live" and "liveeu" folder within "My Document", but nothing's working. Deleting that folder doesn't seem to affect the game at all either.

Most info I found online dates back a couple of years. Any suggestions?

Did you check the "use outdated" box?

If you mean the "oudated" addons toggle, yes.

Add-ons these days need support add-ons to work. On the character select, open the add-on window and any add-on that is red needs a support add-on. They will have a little arrow under them you can open and see what is needed,

You might consider using Minion at least until you get things sorted....

The Addons folder goes directly under the Users/*your user name*/Elder Scrolls Online/live folder. Any of the required libraries also go in the Addons folder now.

The folder in "My Documents" stopped working. There's no "Elder Scrolls Online" folder in "Users" as well.

It turns out it moved to "ProgramData" for some reason. Attempting to move it to "My Documents" doesn't work, so I made a shortcut. I have no idea how this was triggered, but all is fine now.

Well, good then. Eh, no one can ever figure out why windows does something - seriously, I've used windows since 3.0 (buggier than ANY anthill) so yeah. Roll with it. You can't ever really "get" it....

My one in a lifetime New Years resolution: figure out linux. *sigh* Just give me a linux UI that looks like windows.... and works without command line crap. The day I got windows 3.0, I was so happy to leave dos command line behind....

Try asking in the add-on forum: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/categories/add-ons-and-ui-mods. Run Minion. Search & ask at ESOUI: https://www.esoui.com/addons.php
