Let us remove video files in different languages

I'm on a 128gb ssd and not surprisingly I'm almost out of space thanks to ESO. I've deleted language files other than en, but video files are also taking a lot of space. Currently in total it's 4.58 gb. And even worse, 3.34gb of this space is de, fr, jp language videos, which I don't need at all. If I delete these videos like the unnecessary language files, client gives error during next patch install and wants to repair the installation. So please do not make those videos mandatory for installation, give us the ability to delete them just like unnecessary language files. Also I've set ESO to skip intros automatically, so I don't really need en videos as well.

Btw, you may tell me to buy a bigger ssd, but I'm living in a country where our currency is extremely weak against USD, so currently an ssd is not a priority for me. Even simple market costs are draining me.

ZOS should make their own launcher and add the option to install languages separately.

Easier said than done, however.

That last 2020 reveal twitch said Russian language localization is coming. We'll see how they handle that but your problem might just be getting a bit worse.

You can delete at least 20 gbs of it on pc. It can be done and it doesn't hurt anything plus the game doesn't require it. Only need like one voice over version. I just have the English one. What you do is go to the elder scrolls online file folder.
Make sure to at least have steam closed otherwise I think it won't let you delete it. Then you see the files named vo-en vo-gn or vo-fr delete the languages you don't use and your good to go. Game doesn't require you to have it. So that is how you delete those.

I don't know. I never do stuff like that. I don't use chat at all....

I find that hard to believe. Never use it? I've read your posts for a long time now and I've noticed you don't do group content " i don't do" is your favourite term ☺ and that's perfectly fine. Play as you want.

But you must use chat sometimes. I'm quite an introverted person but I still find the chat an important part of the game. *shrug*

Ah sorry I missed that. Well hopefully they can change that so you can delete them if you don't need them.

Yep, different installation packages for each language would be the best. Also when something is broken and we need to do a repair, that massive installation file with unnecessary language files and videos is downloaded again, that's ridicilous.

Nope. If my friends are on, we generally whisper back and forth about stuff. I don't buy from chat, I don't sell in chat, and I really don't appreciate the garbage in chat. I have the chat pane closed all the time. I don't need to link stuff in chat, etc.

I'm not only introverted, I'm a hermit. And antisocial. This forum and one other are as social as I ever get with games.
