Fury set, what am I missing?

So last night I spent 4 million ap on necklaces to resell further down the line. VD, spell strat, trans, elf bane. But no fury.

Kind of wish I did now seeing how many people are after it, but at the time I figured surely fury is worn as a body piece for the constant effect? Especially considering most back bar an arena set or at least a 2 piece set like potatoes or agility?

Am I correct in my assumption or have I lost a lot of potential ap >gold?

Fury is a heavy set so if you want medium passives, you'll have to use jewelry and weapon(s).

You can still backbar another set without losing uptime with jewelry and 2 body pieces, and Fury is a relatively easy/inexpensive set to get in gold.

All the stats are good for medium. If you're thinking about the requirement to take damage, regardless of your tankiness, you are going to take damage in pvp.

Ofc if you play a ganker build, the set would be useless.

In the current PvP meta it is. Damage is low enough that you can get away with 5-2 or 7 medium with a defensive monster set and 2 damage sets and still make good use of fury.

You might have. Most using Fury pair it with 7th Legion. 7th Legion is super cheap in comparison to Fury. Since they are both heavy sets you can easily mix and match them.

Fury is a very popular set. It's also greatly impacted by the fact that sites like Alcast, Dottz, and others have the set in their PvP builds.
