Loot tables do seem weird. I’ve been trying to get gossamer 1H weapons forever with no luck.

I have a couple restos, 2 2H sword, a shield but no 1hers.

so many hours wasted that could've been spent on useful or at least fun activities.

RNG is a *** sometimes.
i've been there. and sometimes it's just not worth it.

I feel your pain. Been trying for a Storm Master Dagger for a while now.

7 different weapon types, in three different sets, only dropped by the last boss. And they might drop jewellery instead anyway. It's roughly a 2% chance of getting the weapon you want. And that's without factoring in getting the trait you want AND I WANT TWO OF THEM

Farming the last boss for a weapon or jewellery piece is literally as hard as farming for an ultra-rare mount drop in WoW.

They really do need to sort this **** out. Either BoE dungeon sets, or create a token system for every dungeon in the game which we can use to buy a specific item with. After 10+ runs of bad luck, it's not fun. Changing this would improve the game.

That is a wasted set slot on a healer. You could have bought the neck from the golden vendor and yet you're still here complaining. Jewelry only drops from the final boss and if you're luck you can find it in a chest. I'm also very certain you are grossly over exaggerating the amount of runs/key fragments/etc..

It's 2020. You can knock that out on normal in minutes, and upgrade the neck from blue, assuming you have ESO+ or Summerset.

BEST ADVICE:

-download harvest map
-Settings > Addons > Harvest Map > turn on chest locations on map/compass
-go to every possible chest spawn location

By searching for chests, it will greatly increase your chances for a necklace drop. Trust me, I have found more gear pieces I needed from looting chests than from actual boss drops.

Just make sure at the beginning of the dungeon that you need to check chest spawn locations. Most people will be okay with helping you.
