If I get a group to farm molag bal in the center of the sewers, do each of the mini bosses have a chance to drop a piece? Or just molag bal?

✭✭Yes, all mini bosses, Elite Guard (the named tall guys with the banners) and overland bosses are supposed to drop motifs. But I got like 3 motifs in 53 bosses. So good luck.
