Title says all. There are so many “hidden values” no pen values, no Crit damage % just to name a few. I would like to see a more complete character sheet to better understand our stats. I am console by the way and I believe they are many players who feel the same. Its lacking and could be better. Shouldn’t need 3rd party addons (pc) to see what the game is using for damage/ healing modifiers.

Ya but zos doesnt really care about console players so we'll never get this, or if we do it will be years after we should have. But good suggestion. Same with the add ons that track lorebooks, skyshards, and even psijic portals. Its something that should have been done long ago.

It is disappointing and I think inexcusable that the character sheets are incomplete with the base game UI. Just because we can get more information via addons for PC players does not remedy the situation.

This is basic information and I agree that Zos needs to add it to the actual game character sheet UI.

didnt realize there was an addon for that. thanks.
I simply must protest. There are no Penguin avatars for me to use in the forums.

    BTW, I use arch too

Pen is theoretically easy to work out on the screen

Personally I’d also like to see a before/after screen for champion point changes too

Well the information is there honestly, the problem lies in the fact that the game does track it and utilizes the modifiers for combat and tooltip changes. I just shouldn’t have to use a calculator / paper to keep track of the stats that the game is using to determine my damage along with healing output. Like I said the stats are there we just need a few extra lines in the character sheet. Some of the others is CRITICAL DAMAGE!!!!,,,block mitigation,,,,modifiers that increase bash since there are enchants that increase this amount,,,,effective weapon and spell damage from max stat increase or decrease,,, how flat critical strike chance is converted to a percent on item sets,,,there are flat stat increases to disease-poison-frost resist from enchants and coming system. We should be able to see our percent increases from putting points into cp as well as a flat number on the character sheet to see everything as a whole. This will help get an overall picture of what how and why skills, abilities, items sets etc effect our character. I think all of the missing information corresponds with player confusion. If players don’t understand what items sets and bonuses do for there character it leaves players in the dark. Other mmo games have intuitive character sheets and is imperative for a successful player. Setting players up for failure is not recommended for game devs.

    Giggity.....

Seriously though, every day I see threads that make me believe that this is the first mmo some people have ever played.
The introduction of stats and numbers is where these games started to get tedious. Everyone min/maxing with the same builds and the same equipment to get every little piece of dps or whatever the stat of choice is turning everything into a cookie cutter meta.

Are we solely talking console here, and is the console UI inferior to the default PC UI in this respect? Critical weapon and spell damage percentages are shown in the default PC UI (I don't use add-ons), or is it something else the OP is asking for when mentioning "no Crit damage %"?

It shows critical strike percentage, however it does not show critical strike damage percentage as such from major force, shadow mundus, class Crit damage modifiers, cp critical damage modifiers such as elf born and precise strikes, modifiers from set and item boni such as archers mind

They do show critical chance increases from say leviathan and mother’s sorrow, precise traits on weapons and critical strike chance increases. This just shows the percentage or likelyhood you will critically strike. Critical strike damage is the amount of damage you deal when you actually critically strike and is calculated as a separate modifier called critical strike damage which is not shown on the character sheet and you have to revisit all sources and write them down or add them up in a calculator to know your critical damage modifiers. I believe base is 150% extra damage and 20% from shadow and 10% from some class passives and such. It’s these very important stats that are missing from the character sheet. Such as penetration. We have to achieve 18,400 pen to shed a boss resist to our damage. So we have to add up all sources to know where we stand. If a tank uses pierce armor it should show on our character sheet among other thing.

I don’t know, giving players more info seems like it would be beneficial for people trying out their own builds. That way they can see if their own off-meta build could still be good enough. Otherwise they may just give up and use those cookie cutter builds because at least they know they’re tried and true.
I use the UESP build creator ( <3 that site so much) but it would be really awesome for more in-game info for people who don’t know about the site or those sick of needing outside sources for pretty much everything.

I can see where you are coming from and definitely think that anything that add-ons can do should be available in game for the most part.
I am just one of those people that quickly got burnt out on other games by every build being exactly the same with the same equipment and same racials because it would eek out a few more points here or there and then if you try playing anything else good luck getting groups or raids.
I do not want to see this game go further down that rabbit hole.

True...I think that with the emphasis on build diversity and class identification, we should have access to more character information when compiling and testing a build with off meta item sets and such. We need to know what is going on with our character because there is so much more than just resists, max stat, crit, spell and weapon damage that makes a build viable and successful

I remember one game where it was on PC and Playstation. PC players and even the developers for the longest time were sure PC players were the ones making the game profitable. After 5 years data was shared. PC players made up 1/3 of the total player base for that game with 2/3 being on playstation. Over 75% of in game items and membership sales came from consoles.

The developers started to pay attention more to its console players.

I don't know how the population is here but it wouldn't surprise me to see similar stats where most players are on consoles. Though this game from my experience is better suited for PC.

The funny thing is, it used too and they took it off. I think during summerset.
