Buy repair kits with gold and repair walls in all the keeps when you find they need it will definitely help the alliance.
It frees up the fighters to get to the next fight faster
Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, but I haven't seen anyone bring this up:
For my fellow non-PVPers, who are just in Cyro for the town quests right now, I wanted to bring up something that you may or may not be doing already. An easy way to help your alliance-- and to thank the full-time PVPers who are defending the towns and regions so that we can actually get to those town quests... is to travel in and out of the keeps and use up those wall and door repair kits we keep getting in our reward boxes. Particularly those that are on the borders/close to contested areas.
Apologies if everyone else but me is already ahead of the curve on this, but it took me longer than it should have to figure out I should be doing this. It doesn't take long at all, and it's a good way of keeping your inventory cleared out, too.

I've been doing this as well (though, if I'm being perfectly honest, mostly to not have these items clutter my inventory), and I've been wondering, because today I actually had a Forward Camp in my reward box. Where would be the best place to use this? I mean, by me asking this you can probably see that I really have no idea about PvP in this game, and I know I won't be needing that Camp myself, so where would be the strategically best place for one of these? Does it even benefit other players I'm not actively grouped with?

You know, I've been wondering the same thing myself. The best I've come up with is to try to think, if I were killed while questing, where would I want to have one of these, based on the current configuration of the map, if I wanted to resurrect without having to ride forever to get back to where I was going.

But, then again, I'm going to the least populated campaigns for my questing, and I suspect most of the other questers do the same, so... maybe I'll go for the first option.
Unless, of course, I should happen upon a keep that is in the process of being attacked or defended by my own alliance, and I find myself in a courageous mood and actually go in there to help with the camp, instead of staying as far away from it as possible, like I would normally do.
I am curious about this as well. ZOS made the forward camps that they are giving away in the event boxes bound. I am selling all the other stuff cheap in the guild store, and folks are buying them. What to do with the forward camps? Probably end up just deleting them, but if someone has a better idea?
