No, making any kind of morphs variety essentially null is just another step towards the world of gray homogenized combat.

Also I rather see a melee magicka weapon skill line than just a passive that switches what resource you get from hvy attacks.

Just a suggestion then how about a 2h magicka sword line and a Stamina (poison) Staff line.

Besides that, some classes would be incredibly strong and being an mmo, I couldn’t imagine many classes having their original feel. Also, why would anyone choose mag over stam? Stam allows you rolling, sprint and blocking. Going mag would be crippling.
Cool idea, but they game would be completely different.
