Legion Zero is bugged or the droprate is so low it feels pointless to fight bosses

You can don the garb of the legion by picking up the Outfit Style pages for the Legion Zero’s armor, dropped from bosses in the Imperial City, including those found in the sewers and the city proper.

12 bosses killed, not a single Legion Zero page. Flag bearers, mini-bosses, Imperial City giant bosses all empty. A roaming group of friendly players reported 11 bosses killed before anyone got a single Legion Zero drop.

There's "only" 7 pages of armor, sure, but considering we have to fight other players AND spawn timers? And it's only available for ~12 days?


I'm getting real sick of the formerly generous holiday events just being another major grind, all because you can "Buy it now!!" with Event Tickets from the Crown Store. I miss the early events when every box you opened contained an event motif page and the duplicates were shared around like candy. Now drop rates are so bad we hoard and sell to each other for jacked up prices.

Yep, after the 7th or 8th boss I'm starting to think its bugged or to be so rare as to be impossible for even the average person.

Imperial city is it's own campaign, nothing to do with Cyrodiil.

Yeah drop rate is ridiculous, I'm just getting my 3 event tickets then out.

They're dropping but drop rate seems rather low. We were killing bosses in the city and got one out of 20 bosses for far.
I logged of for now but rest of the group carried on. They didn't really get any more pages. But event just began so maybe it's just that or it's bad and they will hopefully readjust it a bit.

I think is a form to force you to play more the game. But I hate it.
Because there is still a lot to do in this game, and I rather choose what to do with my free time. Rather than being tied up on a limited low drop chance.

It’s a not-at-all-subtle shove towards the cash shop, not any encouragement to play the game more.

ZOS’s model is “play less, spend more”

I've opted to stop focusing on Indriks. I have a ton of mounts as it is and I'm no longer interested in stressing over getting enough tickets or grinding to get everything I want. If things get to be too much of a pain, and its getting rather close now, I'll stop participating in the events all together.

I'm sure plenty of people will continue to make these events a success but I'm rather burnt out on the every 2 weeks inflated participation events.

It's not coming to the Store. Like all Event motifs.

If you want to spend real money, you'll have to buy Tickets with Crowns. And at 5 tickets a piece and 7 pieces total for the whole outfit, you'll need 35 Tickets, which at 250 Crowns per ticket, will cost 8,750 Crowns total.

I just plan on doing a quick scouting mission every day to get my 3 tickets and buying all of the motif pieces.

Yeah it's a cash grab for sure.

On the bright side, this whole indrik berry thing is so over milked by this point that a lot of us don't care at all. Not to mention they're ugly and have terrible sound effects. So then there's plenty of event tickets for the full outfit style set.

There is some really wild RNG here. Some guildmates reporting they have regular drops, something like 5 pages per 2 hours... and for majority nothing drops at all. ZOS needs to check their formula

I think the point is to get it via tickets...so u buy the tickets in the store good thing I only wanted dem boots!

Just buy it with tickets. 1 quest per day and by the end you should have enough to buy every page.
Boots look especially awesome btw, got them first.

I went in with a group of 12, we killed 14 bosses in two hours (due to typical PvP distractions and disconnects), we got 2 drops. Assuming we were unlucky, there is probably about a 1-2 percent chance of getting one drop. You'd need to kill within a range of 350-700 bosses to have a shot at getting all of the pages. With the tel var farm groups out in force, it's not really feasible to do it. I'm not bothering with the style pages at those rates.

The drop rate is far too low on these to be worth it, spent all evening in IC yesterday and got none.

You have until February 4th to complete the outfit style in-game. It's possible to complete it before that. I'm already finished with a few extra. Had some fun, lost a lot of stones. That's fine. Alliance points and key frags still spend.

You won't earn any styles on the forum. Take a deep breath, and go get 'em.

Also be sure to check your bag contents, as I did not see a few of the pages listed on the lower right loot list as I received them. I'm not sure if that's a visual bug or if it's a parsing issue on larger lists of loot.

I ve been farming bosses for some hours in the sewers today and managed to kill around 20. Zero motif drop. And in my 16-player group the drop rate was either 0/16 or 1/16. Unfortunately I will keep on farming till I get 2 more motifs so that I have enough tickets to buy both the remaining pieces and the new Indrik berries.

This event is a total and absolute failure.

So if you didn't want the Indrik stuff at all, in 12 days you'd have enough for the entire outfit.
If you did want the Indrik stuff you'd have to hope you get enough tickets next event -- and it's starting to look like they are keeping the heightened number of tickets per day.

Maybe that's the plan? Some people burnt out on Indriks might just switch over to getting style page -- and they'd have enough tickets theoretically to get the entire style too at just 7 pages.

That said, offering drops but making the drops low is to put it charitably "disappointing". Bait and switch if you're cynical.

30+ boxes and no Legion motifs...sigh. I mean I could be more active but still drilling a dry hole after 30 has really put me int he do 1 a day for the tickets and find something else to do.

They don’t drop from the boxes but instead from bosses in Imperial City and the Sewers.

The drop rates are all over the place. I finished the full set and had extras to sell in a few hours yesterday. How? I grouped up and camped Molag Bal in the sewers. Portals respawn every 5 or so minutes, giving you 3 bosses and Molag Bal for drops. In about 3-4 hours I had everything plus some great battles with other players that came by. We lost two times and had to respawn at base to return. It was great fun.

I was fortunate, others in the group only got a few pages during that time. But this is very much achievable if I can get it done in a single evening of play.

I had the same issue. I assumed I was just not looking closely enough as they flashed by but then it kept happening.

I don’t think that’s right. I landed all seven and some dups in well under 150 bosses.
