How viable is pairing master architect with siroria?

The title says it all.

More specifically can master architect outperform mothers sorrow in conjunction with siroria?

Its something i want to toy with, however jewelry for either set is very difficult to farm, which is compounded by the fact that it is hard to find anyo e willing to run hof.

Has anyone experimented with this? Or are ther ed any math gurus here who might be able to break down why it could or could not work?

If you can keep the 20 stack and don’t have issues with sustain then Siroria is the best set to combine with Master Architect (or anything else). Sure the Minor Slayer is redundant, but the extra 5pc on Perfected Siroria makes up for this. Think of Siroria vs Sorrow line by line, with approx DPS contribution for each bonus:
- 129 Spell Damage (2%) vs 3.8% Spell Crit (2.5%)
- 1096 Magicka (2%) vs 1096 Max Magicka (2%)
- 1096 Max Magick (2%) vs 3.8% Spell Crit (2.5%)
- 600 Spell Damage (9%) vs 8:8% Spell Crit (6%)

Add all that up and Siroria wins by 2% DPS if you can keep the full stacks. If you’re not averaging over 15 stacks of Siroria then Sorrow becomes better. Keep in mind this is assuming Perfected. For non-Perfected they break even with 100% uptime on 20 stacks, which means in any realistic scenario Sorrow would be better.

As for the low crit, just make sure you use Precise on your front bar weapon. With group buffs this brings you to 52% Spell Crit. Thief will technically outperform Shadow at this point by less than 0.5%, but if you use a monster helm with a 1pc crit like Zaan, Slimecraw, Iceheart or Grundwulf then this reverses and Shadow beats Thief (at 55.8% Spell Crit). You can also mix 2 different Spell Crit 1pc monster helms for a comfortable 59.6% Spell Crit in Architect + Siroria.

well first of all u cant Play siroria on all bosses /Trials so thats alr quite a Limitation
ur crit will be quite low so guess u Need thief mundus

Outperform probably not, but MA it's a tradeoff set - you decrease your own dps to boost 2 other people. And it needs to be used with class that have very low cost ultimate (magplar, magblade, warden with bear)

Where will you be using it? For dungeons Siroria isn’t that good. I mostly pug and your average dps will stand behind you so it’s a waste of a set unless you’re with two stam melee.

I run master architect and mother’s sorrow as a healer in dungeons. It works well enough. Resto Ult spam with master architect is decent. SPC would probably be a bit better then mother’s sorrow but I had mother’s sorrow lying around so used it.

I am a magblade and do use siroria in most content (my rotation isnt 100k super teir, but its solid well abovd 40k on 3/6 mil) because its my best ttk after using both false gods and master architect. I think false gods is over rated if you know how to get the most out of siroria in a fight. But i was curious how the major slayer would perform in l'eau of the crit from mothers sorrow, or, more accurately in l'eau of the shadow mundus since that would be traded for the theif.

Tried it and my dps went down on the 3mil due to less crits. When the bow proc hits for 20 instead of 40, it adds up over time and leads to a pretty significant reduction. Not to mention how sad it is when impale hits for 20k because non-crit. MS Siroria will outperform MA/MS, but overall group dps will be lower unless you’re running with a bunch of people running lokke.
