I mean, the ideas are cute, but it just feels off. Can't explain it, it just feels off for me.

What would make it seem more on?

Spell crafting - i dont think eso has enough classes to make it without ruining the little class identity it has, or making it entirely useless. (The spell crafting part). Another problem is another skill point sink.
Polearms - doesnt belong to tes universe, just...wrong culture.
Unarmed - is about time tbh, but spell sword feels more imminent and needed.

Well the whole point would be to allow all skills to be available to every player while still establishing the benefits of having a class due to the passives and the morphs.

If skill points put into crafting spells or using scrolls is not worth it, that's okay. This is for those that want to create spell caster with vast spell knowledge.

I think Pole-arms do have a place in ESO. I know they're called Spears and they been in previous TES games. They could simply use the same skins of the staves currently in the game and just add melee animations. I'm sure plenty of people would love to have Pole-arms as a weapon.

I really don't see the need of a spell sword or a sword and rune weapon class, simply because you can already use your class skills, which are more likely magicka, with any weapon. I understand that people want another spell based weapon other than staves, but the next question would be what skills would they have, what would be the light and heavy attacks, what passives.

I'm not against this idea, I just can understand why it wasn't initially implemented. I for one think that if the implementation a rune magic, it should handled like dual weld, where if you put a rune in your off-hand, it changes the from one-hand and shield to rune magic and you could use runes in one hand or both.
