If Rimmen had a Town House

It would have been nice if Rimmen had a medium sized house like Lucky Cat Landing in Senchal. After experiencing Senchal, Rimmen appears much nicer and more convenient a Hub for me, but all it has is an Inn room.

I don't count the Champion Hall as its not REALLY a house and its on the far edge of the city.

Yes, I was hoping for this as well. I spend time in Rimmen, but Senchal is like a maze and half the city is in decay. I guess they wanted to show the effects of what happened there, but they have created a city I don’t ever care to go to. Lucky Cat is a nice house but in a horrible area.

There are plenty of chained off townhouses in Rimmen that could be opened up for housing, but after all the complaints about too many Elsweyr style houses I am not sure that will ever be an option.

There were a lot of Elsweyr style houses last year, but that doesn't mean that a proper townhouse in Rimmen is unwanted, though having three houses in the same town might be a bit much, however much I'd like a lovely townhome there.

Maybe in the future, they'll add one, along with reasonably sized homes in Balmora, Abah's Landing, Anvil, Orsinium, CWC, Lilmoth - have I missed any?

ETA: Lilandril or Shimmerene would be nice, too!

Ha, I stopped going to Lillandril directly a long time ago because it freezes up my game just like Anvil wayshrine does.

yea id really like to know who thought displaying a burnt down rotting village on your back porch is a good idea for a house

What exactly makes something a house out of curiosity, since you don't qualify Hall of the Lunar Champion.
The walls aren't wood?... You can cover them. Same with the floors, you could make a full custom interior really.

And as for the... far edge of the city?... It's right outside the market place. It takes MAYBE 5-10 seconds longer to get to the city center VS the inn room. The way you phrase it makes it sound like Erstwhile Sanctuary and Kvatch.

It has a very different feel to it and however you may change it (and I’ve seen some awesome builds!) it won’t have the same feel as a building like Sugar Bowl Suite, if that’s what you’re wanting. I love Hall of the Lunar Champion for all the potential it provides but I would still be glad for a Rimmen Townhouse just because I love the feel of Sugar Bowl Suite — including the large front window with light streaming in. I also like the homes like Snugpod and Kragenhome that actually have a generous item limit for their size! I would love something like that in Rimmen or even just an item slot increase for SBS!

Hall of the Lunar Champion for me has been a challenge. I decorated the last area, the one with the little house and am happy with it. The main area is still empty and full of rubble because I can’t figure out what to do with it, the first and second areas only have a few items for the same reason.

I hate the portals too.

I know what @Araneae6537 is saying. I was going to make a museum out of it because the layout and structure is so odd.

Yeah, this is what I wanted, too.

So many locked houses, but no townhouse.

Personally, I would have preferred a Large sized house, but with a Manor sized furnishing limit, but yeah.

It's not that far out of the city, but it's not a house, either.

It's a crumbling, ruined temple/room, with an unremovable, buzzing alien disco ball and some outdoor areas, which you can't port directly to.

Only two good things about it, as far as I am concerned: it was included in the original purchase price and has some fairly nice views, from the outdoor areas.

Yeah, it's almost like they're taking the mickey, isn't it? xD

Honestly, I suspect they replaced the (excellent) team that did the Alinor Townhouse, the new team don't have the faintest idea what they are doing and resent the fact that we said we didn't like what they were doing and wanted the type of house the old team did.

So, they then gave us a rotting, badly laid out, truncated house, with uneven placement of everything, in a run down area, as a kind of "You may think you want a townhouse, but you won't like it the way we'll do it!" kind of act of revenge.

I don't have any evidence for this, but that would be my hunch.

Anyway, onwards and upwards (let's hope).

The Lunar Champion Hall proper is a single room stone Temple. The three areas you could make better homes out of require another load transition to get to. All I need or want is a simple one instance traditional House that makes me feel as quaint as the rest of the city's NPC inhabitants. Preferably close to the Wayshrine.
