confused about event tickets

From the Midyear Mayhem announcement:

"When you complete one of these quests, you receive two Event Tickets in addition to your regular rewards. Note that you can earn only three tickets per day per account, resetting at 1:00AM EST each morning."

It's been a long day, but... something is off here. Two tickets per quest, but three per day?

So, I mean, effectively, I guess this means the first quest of the day you get two tickets, and the second quest of the day you get one ticket? Which is fine, I guess, but it seems unnecessarily complicated?

Not sure where you saw the outdated wording, but this was addressed in the above thread earlier today. The article was corrected and now says: "When you complete one of these quests, you receive three Event Tickets in addition to your regular rewards. Note that you can earn only three tickets per day per account, resetting at 1:00AM EST each morning."

Already corrected by Zos staff, it was a typo, now it says:

Ok, maybe I'm having a weird browser issue, because I just looked at the page and it still says it. So I guess I need make sure things are refreshing properly.

Yeah, clear your browser cache, and CTRL F5 hard refresh. It was doing that for me for a long time today (not that I really care as I don't do this event but I did think it was strange). Then power went out (*sigh*) came back on 3 seconds later, and when I checked back it was showing the updated info.

Thanks! It used to happen fairly often with my older computer, but I haven't had it happen since I upgraded to a better one last year, so it caught me off-guard.

I haven't had it happen much with this machine - but then again, winter and power here are not.... making happy together (never have). Lots of snow and serious cold, plus power outages.... When I start getting weird stuff going on, I have a whole mega-routine I go through.

TMI.... but still, one has to do what one has to do.
