To Kill or not to Kill that is the question

Ok my new toon is running around Northern Elsweyr in the northwest corner of the zone and come across what look like a pride of striped mountain lions. Of course being the good samaritan that I am I decided to kill them in case they attacked any wayward travelers. After they died to my tremendous firepower I noticed a loan baby lion who had survived the onslaught. With my head lowered in shame I continued on my journey.

Does anyone know if there's a Northern Elsweyr humane society for wayward cubs?

Ah, a remorseful poacher here !.. You should talk to Numaia. She gives shelter to animals. Moreover she can offer some work to you - to drive off the local poachers. There are some other poacher camps (group boss locations) I am aware of here and here. That might be a good option to you.

I felt the same way about the wolves and gryphons in Summerset. Mostly, I don't attack animals if I can help it. Humanoids, Daedra, and monsters....no remorse!

This is why I avoid killing the bears in Wrothgar, the wolves in Summerset, and the lions in Elsweyr. In each one of those locations I’ve killed the respective beastie, only to find wee little babies left behind, and silly me felt bad.

When I do my surveys in Craglorn, I see three camels (or horses?) standing in front the water. I don’t know why, but I always light attack them.

Do I feel bad? Yeah. Do I think about it often? Sometimes. Do I regret it? No.
